P.S. (Found this in my local Walmart today. Sure surprised me never got to see the gang though. Also one day remains for the choice between Harem or no Harem. I can work with both but I do admit that making no harem seemed easier so no wonder fuse chose it.)

Gran-Dwargo's POV

After the agreement was made with the so called Void Dragon we went outside the city. It acted surprisingly nice compared to only moments prior. I asked my best men to put up a barrier around our fight so less damage could be done to the surrounding. My gut tells me I still couldn't win, but to keep my people safe I must at least buy time for an evacuation. I had my attendance bring my only 2 legend grade equipment out for this. I can only hope they allow me to obtain enough time at best at worst none at all with my own death too. As I made my last preparation on the open field the beast spoke to me.

Void Dragon(Rimuru)- "Your peoples barriers are not strong enough to contain the battle we shall have. I'll be making one that can't be broken by any beings means or awakened individuals so rest assured no harm will come to your people. If I did and you somehow won I would have already broken our agreement then."

It knows about awakening? Every time it speaks it makes me more afraid than I was a moment before. If what it says is true only my ultimate skill can break the barriers it can make at best. I fear for our species survival this day.

Gran-Dwargo- "I thank you for considering the safety of my people. Pardon me for asking but are your words about this barrier true?

Void Dragon(Rimuru)- "My words are true, you can only rely on the ultimate skill you acquired with your own strength to win this battle or some other technique you have. But know this Dwarf king, I have only lost once in my whole life. Your chances are slim to none but worry not for if you die this day it will be painless, for you faced death with dignity and did not run away from the inevitable. For that you earn some respect more than many who have and will face me in the future."

Gran-Dwargo- "I thank you Void Dragon for not destroying my people as you showed me with your knowledge alone that you could have, and for respecting my wishes before my dual with what is surely death in physical form. I will have my men signal us to begin when to start this dual."

                             Rimuru's POV

I had gone along with the dwarf kings plan since I also didn't want to bring harm to the innocent bystanders who wished to watch or flee from the battle about to begin here. When he spoke about putting a barrier up to keep the battle contained I knew it wouldn't last even one attack from me so I proposed a solution to satisfy both parties.

Rimuru- "Your peoples barriers are not strong enough to contain the battle we shall have. I'll be making one that can't be broken by any beings means or awakened individuals so rest assured no harm will come to your people. If I did and you somehow won I would have already broken our agreement then."

Gran-Dwargo- "I thank you for considering the safety of my people. Pardon me for asking but are your words about this barrier true?

I'm surprised that he seemed to question my words in a fearful manner. It started to seem like every time a told him about myself he became more scared of me. I don't mind though since it helps me keep up appearances then. I am a little nervous about fighting in this form instead of my human form but I need to make my current form have its own legend that is pasted down by the dwarf kings of old to make Gazel in the future weary of me so we can meet him quicker than before.

Rimuru- "My words are true, you can only rely on the ultimate skill you acquired with your own strength to win this battle or some other technique you have. But know this Dwarf king, I have only lost once in my whole life. Your chances are slim to none but worry not for if you die this day it will be painless, for you faced death with dignity and did not run away from the inevitable. For that you earn some respect more than many who have and will face me in the future."
