The fellowship were gathered at the river. Naehlara, Boromir, Legolas and Aragorn loading three boats. Naehlara watched Frodo sitting next to Sam anxious looking around. He's been on edge watching everyone in the fellowship as if someone was going to attack him any moment. Keeping himself away from everyone except for Sam. He was particularly nervous around Boromir, and she could understand, everyone was feeling the effect of the ring but especially Boromir.
Naehlara was helping move extra equipment into the boats with Aragorn when she noticed Legolas walk up to the hobbits. Setting a bag into the boat and pulling something out of the bag, "Lembas. Elvish waybread." Taking a bite of the bread and wrapping it back up. "One small bite is enough to fill the stomach of a grown man." Legolas says, putting the item back and walks over to Naehlara and Aragorn.
"How many did you eat?" Merry whispers to Pippin.
"Four." Pippin answers, letting out a loud belch. A smile grows across Naehlara's and Legolas' faces.
"Hobbits are just a different type of creature." Naehlara says, shaking her head. "Is everything in order?"
"Yes we are just-"
"Aragorn can I speak with you for a moment?" Lord Celeborn asks, cutting Aragorn off and leading him away from the fellowship.
"What do you think that was about?" Naehlara questions Legolas.
"The orcs on the eastern shore. Haldir was in forming me about them early this morning." Legolas explains, looking over the river. Haldir and Naehlara spent the day together the day before and he never mentioned anything to her. Well not really together, more he sat by the sidelines while she fought every guard willing to. It wasn't till the end of the day that Haldir actually sparred her and lost but it lasted nearly two hours.
Aragorn came back with Celeborn, Galadriel joining the fellowship at the same time. "We have some gifts to send with you on your journey." Waving her hand elves came up behind every member of the fellowship. Clipping elven cloaks around each members neck.
"Never before have we clad strangers in the garb of our own people. May these cloaks help shield you from unfriendly eyes." Celeborn says, looking over the fellowship as the elves step away leaving them with the cloaks resting against their shoulders.
Galadriel steps forward with an elf maiden, smiling as the elf holds up a bow. "My gift for you, Legolas, is a bow of the Galadhrim. Worthy of the skill of our woodland kin," Legolas, takes the bow. Bowing to Galadriel in thanks before assessing the bow for himself.
"Naehlara, I gift to you a sword of your kin. I'm sure you will recognize it. Take care of yourself my friend." Galadriel reaches to an elf maiden, that came forward holding a sheathed sword. Taking it she hands it to Naehlara, taking the sword she smiles in thanks.
Grabbing the hilt of the sword, she pulls it out of the sheath. Freezing the moment she saw the inscriptions on the sword. Quenya, she figured it could be on the sword but she wasn't expecting to see this sword. Virion's sword, her brother's sword. How did Galadriel get her brother's sword? Naehlara questions.
Galadriel moved over to Merry and Pippin, smiling down to them. "These are the daggers of the Noldorin. They have already seen service in war." Two elves came up, holding two daggers out for the hobbits. Pippin wearily held the dagger in his hand. "Do not fear, young Peregrin Took. You will find your courage."
Stepping in front of Sam, Galadriel smiles down to him. "And for you, Samwise Gamgee, Elven rope made of hithlain." Grabbing the rope from the elf maiden and handing it to Sam.
"Thank you, my lady." He says, smiling to the rope before his smile wavers looking to Merry and Pippin's daggers. "Have you run out of those nice, shiny daggers?" Galadriel's smile widen as she turns away making her way to Gimli.
