Three days of resting and Naehlara was done with being in a bed. Her leg was healed and she was itching to be moving about, but Legolas was always there telling her to rest some more. Naehlara glanced around the room, having left the healing courtiers two days ago. Legolas was gone meeting with Aragorn, Theoden, Gimli, and Gandalf.
Standing from the bed Naehlara went through her items, grabbing her sword and long daggers. Strapping them to her, bending down and untying the small pouch from her inner chest plate, she slips it into her pocket. Leaving the armor by the bed, once they make it to Edoras again they will be able to mend the damaged armor.
Leaving the room, she makes her way to the Hornburg. Reaching the doorway two gaurds raised there swords blocking the door from her. "You cannot come in." One of the guards state.
Naehlara raised an eyebrow at the guard, "I am with Lord Aragorn and Gandalf." NAehlara said calmly looking to the guard, but neither retract their swords. Naehlara takes a deep breath wishing at this moment to strike one of them.
The doors suddenly opening behind them the guards looking back to see Legolas had opened the door. His had tilted to the side as he looked from her to the guards. "Let her in." Legolas demands, the two guards instantly retracting their swords and letting her pass. "You should still be resting." Legolas whispered walking next to her.
"I'm perfectly fine, do not worry." Naehlara whispered, stopping as she sees their companions, the king, and Gamling around a table looking over a map. Looking to Gandalf he smiles warmly to her.
"Are you ready to travel my queen?" Gandalf questions, walking over to her.
"I'm all healed. Where are we traveling too?" Naehlara asked looking from Gandalf and around the room.
"Isengard." Aragorn says, looking to Naehlara. She did seemed completely healed even with the injury that she had three days ago. The healing of elves always amazed him.
"It is time to face Saruman." Gandalf says, looking back to the king. "One hour to ready yourselves then we shall leave. Bring your weapons if you wish but I feel there is no need for battle armor." Gandalf left the room at that, everyone else slowly dispersing.
Naehlara walked back to her room with Legolas beside her. "I never got to hear the end of Gimli and yours game. Who won?"
Legolas let out a laugh, looking around the hall before looking down to Naehlara. "We tied."
"Really? That's surprising last I heard you were far ahead of him." Naehlara commented. They stopped next to her door, "I'll meet you at the stables, in an hour." She softly. Spoke, leaning up and kissing his cheek, opening her door and stepping in to prepare for the trip.
An hour later and everyone was at the stables. Eomer, Theoden and Gamling traveling with the group to Isengard. One horse back and it just being the eight of them the ride should only take two days. They wouldn't stop riding until nightfall.
Naehlara rode by herself, Legolas and Gimli riding together. They packed close to nothing other than bedrolls for themselves. They were all hope for a quick and uneventful trip. They rode along. Quietly, no one really talking other than Gimli, he seemed to hte the silence and would just talk about anything to fill the quiet.
It wasn''t until they stopped that night and got a fire started that they were talking. Each telling of battle stories. Aragorn currently talking about his ride into battle with Theoden's father. Naehlara sat up on a log, Legolas in front her as she braided his hair.
As soon as she finished she, moved from the log to sitting next to him. Leaning her head against his. Shoulder watching the flames of the fire. "What about you Naehlara, what battles have you been in?" Eomer questions, sitting across from her and Legolas. Naehlara sat up, her body tensing, only relaxing when Legolas sat his hand on her leg.
