Naehlara sat next to the training grounds, watching Gimli and Legolas battling each other. Glancing up, Aragorn sat atop the water tower again, watching the mountains for the beacon. There was no movement on the mountain though, nothing Naehlara could see or has seen. She wasn't even sure that there were people up on that mountain. A grunt caused her to look back to the arena, Gimli laid on the ground. Legolas above him, her brother's sword in his hand pointed down to the dwarfs neck.

Gimli shoved the blade away from his neck, mumbling about Legolas cheating with his elvish princeliness. Naehlara laughed at the two, they had become really close friends since leaving Lothlorien and have only gotten closer during their time with Rohan. Looking back up to the mountain, Naehlara jumped to her feet.

Legolas turned towards Naehlara to give her back her sword, noticing her standing up staring at the mountain eyes wide. Glancing back his heart jumped in his chest, the beacon was lit. Both looked up to the watch tower, Aragorn running down the stairs, jumping the last half of them. Running past the training grounds and towards the stairs leading to the Golden Hall above them. Naehlara dashed after him, Legolas and Gimli close behind.

Aragorn slammed the doors open to the Golden Hall, causing Eomer and King Theoden to turn to the doors. Naehlara, Legolas and Gimli coming to a stop behind him, looking into the hall. "The beacons of Minas Tirith! The beacons are lit! Gondor calls for aid." Aragorn say urgently, his voice breathy from sprinting up and down stairs to get up to the hall as fast as possible.

Naehlara held her breath, waiting for the king to say something. Last time she heard him speak of Gondor was with Gandalf nearly five days ago and that had ended poorly. Eomer and Eowyn look to the king, there uncle, as he bowed his head to the ground. Slowly looking up to Aragorn, "Then Rohan will answer." Turning to Eomer he commands, "Muster the Rohirrim!"

Naehlara went with the king and Aragorn as they walked with Gamling out of the Golden Hall. "Assemble the army at Dunharrow, as many men as can be found. You have two days. On the third we ride for Gondor and war." He instructing all the guards walking with him.

"Gamling, make haste across the Riddermark. Summon every able-bodied man to Dunharrow." Gamling nods, turning and heading towards the stables for his horse. Aragorn left to prepare his stuff ,Naehlara looking out of the city and towards the north.

Theoden slowly turns towards her, debating with himself. "Is there any chance the elves will come to help with the battle at Gondor? Will you call for them again?" He questioned quietly, watching the Elven Queen as she looked over the lands.

"Lothlorien lost many of their elves and are mourning them, I do not know if I could call on them. Rivendell has left for the Gray Havens, but there maybe..." Her voice. Trailed off as she glanced down below, finding Legolas helping prepare the horses for the travel. "I will need to leave now and have to meet you at Gondor. The travel will be long and I would have to be quick."

Taking a deep breath she turns away from the balcony facing Theoden. "I will leave now, but you should know Aragorn will not travel with you all the way to Gondor. He will have to take his own path. Keep your trust in him and in me. We will both be there for Gondor and with you when the time for battle comes. I will be leaving for Mirkwood." She didn't like calling it Mirkwood but she knew the king would not know it by any other name.

Theoden nodded, letting Naehlara walk past him, "Thank you, Queen Naehlara, men will forever be in your debt." He said softly, she paused in her step taking a deep breath.

"No one is in anyone's debt, only with all of Middle Earth together can we all move into the fourth age. Where Sauron will be gone, once and for all." Naehlara said, not looking back to him.
