Naehlara was up in her room in the Golden of Edoras, getting ready for the celebration of the victory at Helm's Deep. Eowyn had brought her a light blue dress that flowed around her arms and legs. Naehlara was struggling as she tried to reach back and tighten the dress, the corset middle making it hard for her to move and breathe. With a groan she sat back down on the bed giving up on tying the dress together.

Her hair fell down her back still wet from the bath. Her crown set on the table next to her weapons and her shoes across the room. Hearing a soft knock on her door, she stood and walked towards the door. Opening it just enough to see Legolas standing out in the hall, in a blue and silver tunic. A smile broke across NAehlara's face, "Come in, I need some help with this dress." She said, opening the door for him to step in.

Stepping into her room, he admired the dress that seemed to excenuate every curve. Shutting the door, she moved around him towards the mirror in the room. Her back to him, he froze as she moved her hair from her back. Three long ragged scars running down her back. Taking a step forward, his fingers softly grazing the white scars. Her body tensed as his warms fingers ran down her scars.

His hand dropped from her back, looking up into the mirror his eyes connecting with Naehlaras. "How did you get these?" He questioned.

Naehlara took a deep breath, "A balrog during the battle against Morgoth." She whispered. A frown grew across Legolas face, he did not say anything as he laced the ribbon up the back of the corset and tightened it. Tying it shut, his hands moving to her waist and turning her to look at him.

Placing a kiss on the top of her head, stepping away he grabbed her crown setting on her head. "You look beautiful, my love."

Naehlara smiled up to Legolas, "You look handsome, my prince." Leaning up and wrapping her arms around his neck. Kissing him, his hands tightened around her waist pressing her closer to him. Pulling away they look to each other in silence, just enjoying the moment of silence. "We should head down before Aragorn or Gimli comes looking for us." Naehlara whispered.

Nodding Legolas took her hand, together walking out of the room and down the hall. Entering thrall everyone was talking and waiting for the king to come make a speech. Tables were lined with food all around the room. Theoden moved to the middle of the room, "Tonight we remember those who gave their blood to defend this country. Hail the victorious dead!" Theoden spoke, the crowd of soldiers cheering.

The crowd seated all through out the hall people talking and laughing. Naehlara leaned against a column watching the men and women dancing in the middle of the hall. Legolas quietly walked up behind her, placing a hand on the small of her back. "Would you like to dance?" Legolas questioned. Glancing up a smile on her face, she talks his hand pulling him onto the floor.

They danced for hours, switching partners to help learn the dances then coming together. Laughing as they try to dance the men's dance that were so different than the dances of elves. Spinning Naehlara around, he pulled her back to him. Her hitting his chest, placing both hands on his chest to help steady her. Both quietly laughing as they sway on the dance floor in a more calm dance than the one happening around them.

Slipping off the dance floor both are breathing heavily as they try to catch there breath. "I don't know if I have very danced like that or for that long before." Naehlara says, her voice airy as she catches her breath.

"I would have to agree." Legolas says, both making there way to a table that Gimli sat at.

Gimli looks up. From his cup of ale a huge smile on his face. "Join us in a game!" He shouted, Naehlara looked around the group noting the men with ales and Eomer next to a barrel.
