"Sir, do you still trust me?" I asked, not wavering my stare from him.

I know he might still be suspicious and could be in denial since he lost his son. But I need him to trust me, at least for this moment. If I take down Shariq, I need Sir and his men to listen to my plan.

"You surrendering and then your wife approaching Rudaba, your men seeking audience with me today was all your plan?" he asked, to which I only shook my head.

"My plan didn't include my wife seeking Rudaba's help to reach me. I underestimate her," I smiled weekly.

The alarm was still blaring, but my men, along with Saahil and Ahaad, were already stationed around the building in a perimeter. I needed strong resistance from inside from Sir's men and to keep Adah safe till this was over.

"Why didn't you show me this evidence before?" Sir asked, reading my face like he always does.

"Some of the gang members wanted to remove you as the leader, and with this incident, they would have gotten an excuse. Plus, you said you would kill anyone who was found guilty. I can't let you make the hard decision," I replied.

He stared at me for a long time before he said, "There is a safe room beside my study. Take your wife there."

He glanced at his security head, who brought Tareq, Osama, and Jahanzeb inside, "follow Aryan's instruction. He is my successor."

I would have been stunned if not for the pressing issue. Without wasting time, I started firing orders, "Tareq, take Adah and Ruhail to the safe room and stay on the same floor. They will try to attack Sir's office."

Ruhail protested, but I quickly shut him down, "You are an entrepreneur, not a mafia man. They will try to take you as hostage. Those fucktards have the same pattern."

"Osama, be with Sir and protect him. Direct death, no need to save some for interrogation. Jahanzeb, tight that bastard and lock him in this room," I pointed towards John.

I delegated the next set of orders to the rest of the men, and they dispersed to inform the remaining men in the building. The building shook with an explosion, and I knew they were trying to infiltrate it. Since this was the gang's headquarters, they assumed it would be symbolic to rise victorious in this place.

Ahaad and Saahil would wait for my signal and then corner the bastards, trapping them between them and the men inside. The adrenaline to meet Shariq had pumped me enough to lead the fight. We exchanged the earpieces, and everyone checked their guns. Sir left along with Osama to avenge his son and fight his last battle as the boss.

My plan was set. After this all was over, I would kill myself during the fight, freeing Adah from the marriage. Nothing was supposed to go wrong except for my temptress reading my intent. I was about to hand over Adah to Tareq when she gripped my shirt and called me out in a whisper. The moment my ear neared her mouth, she said, "If you don't come back to me, I will marry another man, and every night, I would moan when he fuc—"

I couldn't hide my smirk at her threat and smashed my lips over hers. It was only when Tareq cleared his throat, "We are in a time crunch," that I broke the kiss.

"You are mine, Adah Aryan Abdullah, and I'll be damned if I let another man touch you."

We both were shaken from inside, but we knew this obsession of mine for her was what I needed to come back to her.

As anticipated, RedWa targeted us from three sides. One group dropped on the roof from the helicopter, the next one entereed throught he main entrance and the last one entered through the window in Sir's office. Those fucktards believed they were taking us by surprise using my strategy during the auction.
