Aryan's hunger never satiated.

I couldn't understand how a man who wouldn't stop taking me until I passed out was the same man who held on to his promise not to touch me when we were on the island. There, I used to sleep beside him, spending every day and night, yet I could never have dreamt this man was a hungry beast in bed.

For two days, he didn't let me out of bed, and all the while, I did was let him devour me or feed me when he was not touching me. In between, he gave me time to rest, but every time I woke up to find him between my legs as if he hadn't done it before, I fell into my slumber.

The worst part was I wasn't disgusted when rationality demanded I should be. The hatred that gradually built for him was now directed toward me. He wasn't forcing me; I was the one who wasn't stopping him.

Just a NO and his madness in bed will stop. But my throat gets clogged, and my tongue feels heavy when he is inside me.

"You are not eating," I licked my lips at being caught.

"I'm tired," I said, still feeling him move inside me, although we were sitting on separate chairs and having breakfast.

"Come here," the moment he ordered, my spoon dropped into the soup.

"A-Aryan."

I panicked and glanced around at the staff coming in and out the door. I was afraid of what he would do. His marks on my neck and chest hadn't even faded when he gave me new ones last night. It's been a week, yet he rams inside me like a bull every night.

"For every second you delay, it will add to what I would do to you," he warned, leaning back in his chair with his hand resting by his side.

I stood on my shaking legs and walked up to him anxiously. The moment I reached him, he pulled me onto his lap, making me gasp. Adjusting me on his lap, he brought the spoon to my lips.

"I-I want to sleep," I couldn't find it in myself to have another morsel of food shove into my mouth.

"After finishing your food, you can rest the entire day. Now eat," he said, and I forced myself to drink the soup from his spoon.

"Amma told me you haven't been eating properly. If you think protesting this way will stop me from taking you every night, then you are wrong, Adah."

Amma has taken up on her to feed me healthy food, and no guess there she noticed my hickeys to know Aryan's stamina. She doesn't say it directly but knows I would fall sick with how the monster claims me every night.

What he said made me stare at him hastily and shook my head, "No... it's...not like..."

I swallowed, finding his insatiate hunger in his eyes again, "My body...aches."

When realization washed over him, he cupped my jaw, and my gaze lowered automatically. Hunter sat beside us, lapping on his food. He was a good dog and always stayed around me, observing me. My fear for him started to fade, and unlike earlier, I don't flinch at his bark or growl anymore. Keeping my eyes on Hunter, I drank the soup.

"Do you want painkillers?" he asked, to which I shook my head.

I just want darkness to take me over and never let me out. But I learned we don't get what we want.

"Okay, at least finish the soup and then rest. Amma will get you something lighter for lunch," he said, pulling me closer by my jaw and kissing my temple.

Except for Amma, no one from the staff was allowed near Aryan's bedroom and study. I nodded and did as he said, counting the seconds when I could close my eyes. When I saw him starting with his food, I sighed and leaned my head over his chest. Knowing he wouldn't let me go until he finished, I closed my heavy eyes, waiting.
