I was about to leave the VIP room at the bar when a woman suddenly approached me. She was struggled to walk, it was clear that she was intoxicated. Her flushed cheeks only highlighted her beauty, but I sensed that her drinking was a way to cope with her pain. Her red, tear-streaked eyes revealed the depth of her distress, as she seemed to be crying non-stop.

As she stumbled and nearly fell, I instinctively caught her in my arms, steadying her before she hit the floor.

She gazed up at me, her eyes brimming with a desperate longing that spoke volumes without uttering a word.

"Ilayo mo ako, please. K—kahit anong gawin mo sa akin. B—basta ilayo mo lang ako," her voice trembling as she begged, and her eyes reflecting deep desperation.

I felt a surge of helplessness, I couldn’t leave her here in that state. Her desperate eyes were full of silent pleas, leaving me no choice but to act. With a firm yet gentle grip, I guided her out of the bar and toward the hotel directly across the street. The night air felt heavy with unspoken worries as I wondered if I was making the right decision.

I booked a room and led her inside, making sure she was settled comfortably.

I guided her to the bed, hoping that in this quiet moment, she could find a sense of comfort and peace.

I was on the verge of stepping out when she suddenly grasped my hand, her touch firm yet trembling. I paused and turned to face her, curiosity and concern intertwining in my heart as I searched her eyes for answers.

"H—huwag mo akong iwan. Samahan mo ako, kahit sa gabing 'to lang."

"How can you trust a stranger when you don’t even know his name?" I gently asked her.

She bent over, her gaze dropping to the floor as if searching for something lost.

She raised her gaze to meet mine again, her eyes reflecting a fragile mix of hope and despair, as if seeking the strength to face whatever lay ahead.

"I just feel safe with you."

I was taken by surprise when she stood up and wrapped her arms around my neck, pulling me close as if seeking comfort and safety.

She leaned in, her lips brushing my ear as she whispered. "Take me tonight, I...promise I won't stop you."

Tension tightened in my jaw, and before I could make a move, I stopped her. I knew she was drunk and unaware of what she's doing.

I gently removed her arms away from my neck and met her gaze with a serious look.

"You don’t understand what you’re doing right now. Just go back to bed and get some rest. There’s no need to worry about the room, it’s already paid for. You can stay here for a week."

"I just need someone to comfort me," she added.

"And lust is the only answer to that?"

"Yes, basta mag stay kalang dito."

"That's fine, but I won't do anything to you."

"Edi ako nalang gagawa."
