58- The Vessel

I needed to find Brennan or Mira.. I was on a hunt as I quickly packed a bag but didn't bring in just incase...which I know someone here would report to Xaden and his happy ass will turn around and.... I'd rather not deal with that.

So instead I walk with just the normal things sheathed to me as I scan the place for any of my siblings. " Ms. Sorrengail!"

Shit.. was I already busted? I turn to see Felix striding up to me with a small pack of his own, his eyes silently judging about everything about me as he nears. " Just who I needed to speak to." I cross my arms sending him my own judge filled look " About?"

" Riorson along with the rest of our council decided that we need to take a deeper look in that power of yours... He informed me you were on close watch back at Basgiath?"

I hold in my scowl from the predetermined plans Xaden made, he knows me to well.... Needed to know I'd try something... Felix manages a small tilt of his lips " I suppose he recruited me to also keep you busy...Though by the look on your face you seemed to figure that out."

" And how exactly do you plan on ' looking into' this power of mine?" I question. He reaches to his pack grabbing a small paper holding it up between this fingers " You were one of only a few that had this...all died. We dug around, we found simularites with your powers... Now follow me... The sooner we get this done the sooner you can go back to whatever mission you seemed to be on. All approved I hope?"

" Ofcourse." 

We walked to the top of one of the valleys, rocks all round and in the distance as I take in the surroundings carefully before looking back to Felix. " Well... go on." He pushes bordley. " What do you want to see?"

" Everything" He orders  " Your supposedly good at this combat thing.. Show me what you got." The comment rubs the wrong way as that edge of annoyance erupts.. Just get this done so I can find Mira and Brennan.

I find a rock in the near distance focusing on it.. I decie to send one of the forces I have making it explode rubble falling a few feet away from us. I look at Felix with a proud grin though he simply kicks a piece of rubble off his foot. " You just exploded one of your team mates near that rock. They're dead."

My smile falls. " You said hit it."

" No.. I said show me what you got. Again."

I celnch my jaw as I plan my next move lookig around. " See that tree?"

" I'm not blind Sorrengail."

I don't hide my annoyance as I shoot a glare sending a crack of lightning down burning it up in mere seconds. Again I look to Felix who glanced up in the clouds then at me. " If your going to be sloppy target closer."

I scoff, " Your joking? I hit the target?!"

" Yes, yiou hit the tree... But if we rode our dragons over there how much more is scorched? How many of your own would've you just killed?"
