Looking through all the dress choices I decided I wanted to make sure Xaden suffered as much as humanly possible. And keeping it black. Being the only color I've been able to wear for the past two years..seeing anything else rings red flags in my mind. Color shows blood. Black hides it.
Just like it hides all the weaknesses.
Nola was just doing Mira's makeup when I walk in I damn well know everyone here hates us so while Nola was distracted I grabbed some alloy daggers from our usual riding clothes , when I return I see Nola pinning Mira's head to put on mascara. I haven't seen her wear makeup since... Ever. Maybe when we were 5 and got into out mothers painting it all over us. " Look at you...You actually look like a girl." I tease grinning at her.
She grumbles, " They said we need to wear it... I'm sure my skin will look like a teenage girls by tomorrow..." She looks me over, " You look...hot. Going to make Riorson fall outta his chair. Maybe make that bitch feel threatened."
I laugh, " I know she's already threatened. This will just top the cake making sure they both suffer." I look at the maid that seems to hold in a laugh. " Thank you for all this Nola."
