Happy Reading ✨️ 📚
Please don't forget to vote and comment anything you like.Thank you for supporting me through everything and for reading my book. I used to be the kind of person who gave up on things very easily. I was never particularly good at anything, and as an average person, I tried a lot of different things. But when they didn’t work out, I would leave them halfway.
Last year, however, I discovered my interest in writing. I wasn’t good at it at first, but I’m so grateful to my sisters, who patiently endured my horrible early drafts. Sometimes, they even criticized my work, but their encouragement and guidance pushed me to keep going. They introduced me to Wattpad, and for the first time, I felt like I truly belonged somewhere.
In the beginning, I gave up on many of the stories I started. But with this book, I made a promise to myself: I wouldn’t give up. I kept pushing forward, and here I am, improving every step of the way. Completing this book has become a goal I’m determined to achieve, and honestly, I think this book is one of the best things to happen to me this year.
Happy New year in advance to you all.✨️🫶🏼
My whole life was a lie and when life brought me before the truth it shatter me, broke my heart into million pices I dont even know the person I trusted with my whole life was nothing but a great liar.
"Avni, what are you doing here? You had meetings with the investors," his voice was filled with confusion as he saw me standing before him.
My heart pounded violently in my chest, my hands curling into tight fists. The man I once saw as a savior, a hero, had been nothing more than a liar-a master of deception. He was the man who had buried the truth for years, who built a life of manipulation and lies around me.
I gritted my teeth, struggling to gather the courage I needed to speak. "How many lies will it take for you to finally tell the truth?" My voice shook as the words left me, my body trembling with a storm of emotions I could barely contain.
He furrowed his brow, his confusion growing deeper. "Lies? What lies? What are you talking about?" he asked, feigning ignorance, his voice tinged with irritation.
"Did you not see the news?" I asked, my words sharp, cutting through the room like a blade.
His expression remained blank, and then his voice dropped into a serious tone, "No, I didn't. Did something happen? Is Malhotra & Co. in danger?"
Of course. All he cared about was the company. Even now. Even after everything.
"Avantika Sharma," I yelled, watching his face change in an instant. I had seen that look before-a shadow of panic, fear, and something deeper he always tried to hide.
"The Vistara Complex. Apartment No. 36. The fire seventeen years ago... it wasn't caused by a gas leak," I said, my voice firm, my hands shaking as I forced myself to keep going. His eyes widened as I spoke of the incident he tried so hard to forget.
