We arrived at the hospital as quickly as possible. Despite Avivansh's initial reluctance, I managed to convince him to let me come along. Ishika was there too, and I knew she might need my support.

As soon as we entered, Avivansh went straight to the doctors to ask about Samarth Bhaiya’s condition. They informed him that while Samarth was currently stable, he had lost a significant amount of blood and remained unconscious. There were no life-threatening injuries, but he would be kept under close observation for a while.

After getting the update, we went to find Ishika. She was surrounded by police officers, who were in the middle of taking her statement. She looked utterly shaken, her face pale and her hands trembling. The moment she saw me, she broke away from the officers and ran into my arms. I wrapped her in a tight hug, gently rubbing her back, trying to soothe her trembling form.

“It’s okay, Ishi,” I whispered, my voice soft as I tried to calm her. She broke down into sobs, the weight of everything that had happened pouring out of her. I held her, my heart aching at how terrified she was.

Avivansh watched us, concern etched across his face. He stepped forward and exchanged a few words with the police officers, leading them outside so I could have a moment with Ishika. Before he left, he glanced back at me and nodded, silently reassuring me.

“Hey, calm down, Ishi,” I murmured, continuing to rub her back. She cried against my shoulder, her fear and shock evident. I had a thousand questions running through my mind, but right now, the most important thing was comforting her and letting her release the emotions she’d been holding in.

Ishika gradually calmed down, though her hands still trembled as she gripped her coffee mug, her fingers turning pale from how tightly she held it. Her eyes remained wide, carrying the haunted look of someone who had witnessed too much in too short a time. We sat together in the hospital canteen, surrounded by the sterile scent of antiseptic and the low hum of fluorescent lights. The tension from the night still lingered around us, a ghostly echo of the chaos that had brought us here.
