It didn't take long for Bakugou to speed through the neighborhood and abruptly brake in front of your house. He insisted on piling your things in the car and all you were planning to do was pack a few outfits to stay there for merely a weekend.

On the drive back, your hand held onto the arm rest tightly as you watched his driving. His license was still fresh but he never practiced often. He swerved past other cars and in and out of lanes, making you glare over at him.

"I would like to make it back to your house in one piece, Katsuki." You scoffed, seeing him give you a look and slowly ease off the pedals.

"Sorry." He awkwardly said, his attention span short as he realized he wasn't paying much attention to how he was driving.

"Any news on your dad?" He asked, the radio playing music in the background as you sucked in a deep breath at the mention of your dad.

The sun was starting to set, the sky in bursts of pink and orange with a sprinkle of clouds. It was almost beautiful but the reminder of the destruction and the reminder of your dad made it less beautiful. You didn't really know what to do here and you were slowly losing your mind in the process.

"No." You said in a plain tone, not wanting to speak on it any further. What is there to say? It was the same thing every day, your dad is in a coma and doctors are convinced he won't wake up.

They even told you that it was your decision whether or not to pull the plug and see if he can breathe and survive on his own, if not he would die. Now that was a hard pill to swallow and ever since they told you the news, you avoided speaking with the doctors and you declined to take him off the machines.

Bakugou could sense the tension, his hands tightening on the wheel as he continued the journey back home which luckily wasn't too far from your place. Eventually he parked the car in the driveway, turning his head to look over at your current state.

You were distant, extremely distant. He didn't know if holding your hand would send you away or if trying to talk to you would make you angry. He didn't want to make things more difficult, he didn't want to argue but he felt like he was walking on eggshells around you and that was something he didn't want to deal with.

Slowly, he got out of the car and made sure to hold all of your things for you while you stepped inside of his home empty handed. His mother was quick to greet you with a tight overbearing hug, something that was common from her, while his father gave you a simple hello and a smile.

Once the both of you were in his room, you dropped the fake smile that was plastered on your face in front of his parents. The door was closed and you were free to show the real emotion that has been on your face for weeks, sadness. You sat down on his bed, watching as he dropped your bags on the floor and cleared his throat.

"I know you don't.. want to talk about what happened but.. you'll have to eventually." He quietly said, nervous that it would certainly make you more upset.

"What is there to say?" You glanced up at him, simply shrugging your shoulders.

"I don't know.. the fact that your dad saved my life while killing himself?" His voice was quiet, the nervousness was obvious in his tone.

"Bakugou.." You trailed off, turning your head away from him, you need to look at anything but him.

"I need to tell you something." He abruptly said before you could say anything else to object.

"What?" You were taken aback, your eyes connecting with his and your right leg bouncing up and down as you remained seated on the edge of the bed.

"You know how I told you about what your dad said to me in that.. dream state? There was more to it but I thought keeping it would be better because it was.. complicated?" He rambled on, picking at his hands as he stared down at you, his mind going a million miles per hour.
