The explosions had sent Bakugou flying back onto the ground, the impact immediately making him lose consciousness for merely a few seconds before another explosion had him come back to reality. His eyes looked around as he watched everyone run in multiple directions, his eyes adjusting to the few innocent citizens that were caught in the crossfire that now lied dead in the grass.

The scene was gory and horrifying as he got up on his feet and ripped the annoying gown off, running down the field and avoiding the flames and explosions as the chaos continued to unfold. He caught glimpses of his classmates either running or fighting back with their quirks.

He couldn't necessarily focus on fighting back, maybe it was because of you or maybe it was the mere thought of dying again and being dead for sure this time. There was no coming back if he were to die again that was for sure. He groaned as the soreness in his body, the impact definitely broke a few of his ribs as his breathing grew rigid and painful.

"Y/N!" He shouted your name, even through all the destruction, he couldn't stop thinking about you and whether or not you were safe.

He listened to the screams, seeing a young woman trapped under a piece of bleachers that exploded and pinned her down. He grunted, rushing over and taking the large piece off and dragging her to safety behind a building.

"Wait here for help, alright?" He reassured her that it'll be okay and help will come shortly.

"Wait! Where are you going? Don't leave me here!" She panicked, her hand having a death grip on his wrist but he needed to go search for you.

"Hey, look at me." Bakugou kneeled down in front of her, ignoring the sharp pain in his ribs.

"Everything will be okay, you're safe here until help arrives and takes you out of here. I need to go help others, you'll be fine." He sighed, watching her slowly nod and release his wrist.

He stood up straight, nodding back at her then turning around to find anyone to figure out what the hell was going on. From the blue flames he knew it was Dabi's doing but he didn't know the motive, not like Shoto or the others. They kept that little secret from Bakugou as well because they knew he would spill the secret to you about the villains plans.

"Bakugou!" He heard his name being shouted from afar, his head snapping in the direction of the voice as he met eyes with All Might.

"The villains, they're attacking after staying hidden for so long." Bakugou spoke, seeing the worried look on All Might's face.

"Where is she?" He asked him, not bothering to pay attention to the explosions.

"What? I don't know, I lost her when the explosions happened." Bakugou grew a little confused at his worried tone.

"Go find her." Was all he said before he ran in the opposite direction and as he watched him run off, his stomach started to sink.

Long minutes passed as he ran around the campus until the sudden sound of a blast was heard and the villains were up in the sky and disappeared from campus. Bakugou had an awful feeling settle in and it wasn't his broken ribs stabbing his insides.

He began to run to the area they blasted from, curious as to what made them run so quickly until he saw your limp body on the concrete in a pool of your own blood. His heart sank, his breathing stopped and it was like the Earth stopped spinning.

"Y/N?!" He shouted, his feet running over to where you were and finally got a full look at the scene.

"No no." He whispered, his hands instantly pressing down on the wound on your abdomen until he saw the blood oozing out from your back and the back of your shoulder.
