Another week went by.
Then another.
Then another.
It had been a little over a month since your fathers funeral and the only way you can forget about it was to drown yourself in the alcohol being passed along to you. You sat on the couch, clinking your shot glass with your four friends sitting around you before throwing your head back and gulping the intoxicating drink in your hand.
"He's here again." Ashido had mumbled towards you over the loud music, your eyes moving to see Bakugou walk through the front door.
You knew he only ever came to keep an eye on you but he tried to act as if he wasn't. He would stand with Kirishima and take a drink or two but other than that he stayed completely sober and tried to act natural when he would look around the room then land his eyes on you.
You didn't know how angry he was on the inside, you didn't see the way his hands would shake and grip the cup in his burning hot hand as he watched you drink and drink. He was so livid that he could hardly see straight but he kept his mind focused on what was important and that was you.
"When is he not here." You scoff under your breath, still frustrated and still upset with him.
He was suffocating you without even being near your proximity but you could still feel his stare from afar and you could feel his negative angry energy overpower you. You did your best to avoid it and ignore it, continuing to have your fun and be around the people you only hung out with during these parties.
The last week you had been skipping class and been avoiding everyone around you but once the sun had set, you were a completely different person. You would throw back more drinks than you can count and there had been a few times you would black out and not remember how you got back to your dorm.
Hint, it was Katsuki who would carry you back.
You still couldn't feel or see the destruction you were causing to yourself but it didn't matter. You felt better once the alcohol swiped your feelings away and you felt free even if it was for the night. It was the only exciting thing you were looking forward to and that was not being drowned in your depressive thoughts of wanting to harm yourself.
"Here." One of your newest friends, Damian, had said while handing you another drink.
"Thank youuu." You cheered, gladly taking it from his hand and instantly taking a few sips of the fruity drink mixed with plenty of other alcohols.
"Let me take you out sometime." He abruptly said, his hand resting on your lower back and his face in close proximity to yours.
You glanced up at him, your gut telling you a big no because deep down you still love Katsuki with your entire being but right now you knew you both needed a break from each other. You were a leech, you latched onto him and sucked the life out of him at times. Even though he would never admit to that, you felt that way and you felt like if it wasn't for you coming into his life- he would have never died and came back.
It was for his own good.
"I like the freedom of being single but thanks." You lied, giving him a laugh to spare his feelings a bit but underneath you felt uncomfortable.
Bakugou watched from afar, his rage consuming him every time he watched a guy come close to you, touch you or make you laugh. He knew all of these idiots were flirting with you, who wouldn't? Even through this toxic habit of yours, you lit up the entire room every time you stepped in it.
"I'll make it worth your time. We don't need to date, just have fun." He mentioned and Ashido nudged his side with her elbow, getting in between the both of you once she saw the look on your face.
