Jungkook had almost forgotten about Taehyung. Between his impending graduation and all the chaos that came with it, the memory of the charming, mischievous man had faded. Today, he was anxiously waiting for his parents to arrive for the ceremony. His father, the CEO of a massive company, rarely had time for family events, so the fact that his mother had somehow convinced him to come made Jungkook both nervous and relieved. He didn't want to disappoint his father, but he also knew the man was hard to please.
"I'm telling you, Hobi, if my dad gives me one of those 'you could've done better' looks, I'm going to just crawl into a hole," Jungkook groaned, fidgeting beside Hoseok, his ever-cheerful best friend.
"Don't sweat it, Kook," Hoseok grinned. "You've got this. Your grades are solid, you've worked hard... and, hey, your mom will be there to keep him in line."
Jungkook chuckled nervously, adjusting his robe as they waited. But their light-hearted conversation was quickly interrupted by a voice he dreaded.
"Well, well, if it isn't the campus prince himself," came the sly, too-smooth voice of Lee Shinwoo. The guy had been a thorn in Jungkook's side the entire semester, always trying to flirt with him, despite Jungkook's constant rejections. Shinwoo's intentions were far from pure, and Jungkook wasn't about to let the pervert ruin his day.
Jungkook's smile dropped, and he rolled his eyes. "Shinwoo, really? I'm not interested. Haven't I made that clear by now?"
Shinwoo smirked, undeterred. "Oh, come on, Jungkook. You don't know what you're missing out on. I could show you a good time."
"I said no." Jungkook's voice was firm, but his frustration was mounting. The guy just didn't take a hint.
That's when an idea struck him. His bratty, troublemaker side kicked in. If Shinwoo wanted to play games, fine. Jungkook could make sure he regretted every life decision that brought him here.
"Hoseok, come with me," Jungkook suddenly said, grabbing his friend's arm and dragging him away from the awkward encounter.
"What? Where are we going?" Hoseok asked, confused as Jungkook led them toward the janitor's closet.
Jungkook smirked, "We're going to get something to teach Shinwoo a lesson he'll never forget."

“How the fuck do you think throwing chalk powder will make Shinwoo regret his deeds, Jeon?” Hoseok asked, rubbing his temples, clearly regretting every choice that led him to this moment. Jungkook was crouched on the floor of the janitor’s closet, filling a small bag with crushed chalk.
“This is our graduation day, hyung. No one in their right mind would want to look like a freaking ghost during it,” Jungkook explained, his mischievous grin widening as he crushed another piece of chalk into fine powder. Hoseok groaned, his shoulders slumping in defeat.
"Why am I even here?" Hoseok muttered under his breath, though he still helped Jungkook crush the remaining pieces into dust.
Finally, they had enough chalk powder for the plan. Now standing behind a wall near the restroom, Jungkook clutched the bag tightly, eyes sharp with anticipation. They knew Shinwoo was inside, and the second he stepped out, the plan would be set into motion. Hoseok, however, was already exhausted, leaning back against the wall and sighing deeply.
“You know, Kook... if this backfires, I’m pretending I don’t know you,” Hoseok warned.
“Don’t worry, hyung. This will be legendary!” Jungkook whispered back, his excitement bubbling over.
