Jungkook’s laughter bubbled up uncontrollably as he squirmed beneath Taehyung’s hold. His husband had him pinned down on their bed, his face buried in Jungkook’s neck as he nuzzled the soft skin there.
“Taehyung! Stop, it tickles!” Jungkook squealed, his voice breathy with giggles as he tried, and failed, to push the older man away.
Taehyung smirked against his skin, his warm breath fanning Jungkook’s neck.
“Why should I stop?” he teased, his deep voice sending shivers down Jungkook’s spine. “You’re the one who wanted my attention earlier. Now you have all of me.”
“I-I didn’t mean like this!” Jungkook managed to say between his fits of laughter. His hands gripped Taehyung’s shoulders, his attempts to shove him away lacking any real effort.
Taehyung hummed, clearly enjoying the sight of his flustered and giggling husband. He pulled back slightly to look at Jungkook’s face—flushed, glowing, and utterly beautiful.
“You’re too cute, you know that?” he murmured, his thumb brushing over Jungkook’s cheek.
Jungkook huffed, trying to appear annoyed, but the smile tugging at his lips betrayed him.
“And you're a bully,” he muttered, turning his head to the side to hide his embarrassment.
Taehyung grinned. "You have a nice room btw. Never knew a brat like can have a room like this, courtesy to my mother-in-law~"
Jungkook rolled his eyes, but the way he wrapped his arms around Taehyung’s neck gave him away.
22 Hours Earlier
The evening had started like any other Saturday night. The warm glow of their living room lights cast a cozy ambiance, but Jungkook wasn’t interested in the comfort of their home. No, he was interested in one thing only—Taehyung’s attention.
The blonde lay sprawled across the couch, dramatically draping himself over the armrest as he let out an exaggerated sigh.
“Taeeee~,” he whined, kicking his feet against the cushions.
Sitting on the other end, Taehyung barely glanced up from his laptop.
“Hmm?”
“It’s the weekend,” Jungkook pointed out, his tone exasperated. “Why are you still working? You’re supposed to spend your time with your handsome husband, not your spreadsheets!”
Taehyung chuckled softly, his fingers typing away.
“I’m almost done, Kook. Just give me a little more time.”
“A little more time?” Jungkook repeated, narrowing his eyes. “That’s what you said an hour ago.” He grabbed a throw pillow and launched it at Taehyung, who easily caught it with one hand.
“I mean it this time,” Taehyung said, amusement evident in his tone. “I promise I’ll be all yours once I finish.”
Jungkook huffed, crossing his arms. “You’re the worst husband ever.”
“Love you too,” Taehyung replied, smirking.
Jungkook was about to fire back with another snarky comment when his phone buzzed on the coffee table. He reached for it, his expression softening when he saw the caller ID.
“Hi, Mom,” he greeted, his tone instantly shifting.
Taehyung’s ears perked up at the mention of Lisa. He continued working, but his focus was now divided.
“Yeah, we’re doing fine,” Jungkook said, tucking his legs underneath him. “Oh? Dinner? Tomorrow?”
Taehyung glanced up briefly, his curiosity piqued.
