Inside the bustling police station, Officer Park Jimin stood at the center of a group of his junior subordinates, eyes gleaming with the energy of a seasoned storyteller. His voice dropped to a hushed whisper, drawing them in as he shared a past experience.
"It was a dark and stormy night…" Jimin began, dramatically narrowing his eyes. "The air was thick with tension, the kind that makes your spine shiver. I, Officer Park Jimin, was patrolling the area when suddenly—" he clapped his hands, making everyone flinch, "—a shriek echoed through the streets!"
The juniors collectively gasped.
"A child! A mere boy! Had fallen into a well!" Jimin widened his eyes for emphasis, shaking his head solemnly. "The townspeople were in chaos, screaming, wailing. But I? I kept my cool." He smirked, brushing imaginary dust off his uniform. "With my sharp reflexes and clever mind, I instantly assessed the situation."
"Sir, what did you do?" one of his juniors asked, hanging onto every word.
Jimin dramatically held up a peanut from the bowl on his desk, popping it into his mouth. "I didn't hesitate. I grabbed a rope, tied it securely to a tree, and—" he suddenly stood up, placing one foot on his chair, "—plunged into the depths of the well like a true hero!"
The officers murmured in awe. "No way…"
Jimin nodded gravely. "Oh yes. As I descended, I could see the boy clutching the stones for dear life, his tiny fingers slipping." He mimicked clawing at an invisible surface. "I reached out, the rain pouring down on us, my uniform soaking wet, the villagers chanting my name!"
"Sir, what happened next?!"
Jimin dramatically exhaled, placing a hand on his chest. "The situation seemed under control, it looked like we could make it back. But—" he raised a finger, pausing for effect, "—just as I pulled him up, my foot slipped! And I too, tumbled down!"
Gasps filled the room.
"But Park Jimin never gives up!" he declared. "With one final heroic swing, I latched onto the rope, lifting us both to safety! The villagers cheered! I remember him instantly running to his mother who immediately latched onto him, that was a beautiful sight. Everyone, every single person bowed to me for my stunt. They even called me the—"
Before he could finish his tale, his phone suddenly buzzed in his pocket. Without looking, he pressed it to his ear, still relishing his moment of glory.
"Hello, Park Jimin speaking," he said smoothly, popping another peanut into his mouth.
Then, the serious voice of a certain person on the other end shattered every ounce of composure he had.
"I wanna seduce Taehyung hyung."
Jimin choked violently, sending bits of peanut flying as he erupted into a coughing fit. The officers rushed forward in alarm.
"Sir?! Are you okay?!"
Jimin waved them off frantically, smacking his own chest as he struggled to breathe. Eyes watering, he yanked the phone away and squinted at the name.
Kim Jungkook.
Of course.
Wheezing, Jimin finally managed to rasp out, "What did you just say?!"
He wiped the tears from his eyes, still recovering from nearly choking to death. He held the phone closer to his ear, disbelief clear in his voice.
"Kim Jungkook," he said slowly, as if tasting the words. "Did you—did you just say you want to seduce your husband? As in, for real?"
"Yes," Jungkook deadpanned. "I want you to teach me how I should seduce my husband, hyung."
A slow, mischievous smirk stretched across Jimin’s lips as he leaned back in his chair, crossing his legs like a seasoned match maker. His subordinates, who had been eagerly listening to his heroic tale just moments ago, now watched in confusion as their boss suddenly exuded an entirely different kind of energy.
"Oh, Jungkookie," Jimin purred into the phone, his tone dripping with amusement. "You’ve finally come to the right person, with the right topic."
Jungkook hummed impatiently. "So you will help me?"
Jimin chuckled, twirling a pen between his fingers. "Help you? My dear, naive, innocent Jungkook, I am flattered you think I can teach you the ways of seduction. But—" he dramatically sighed, "—are you truly ready to step into this world? The world of temptation? The world of longing gazes and subtle touches? The world where a single whisper can send shivers down your husband’s spine?"
Jungkook blinked. "Hyung. What the hell are you saying?"
Jimin rolled his eyes, completely unfazed. "I mean, are you prepared to become an irresistible force? Because once you embark on this journey, there’s no going back. Taehyung might just end up obsessed with you."
Jungkook scoffed. "He already is. He just doesn’t realize it yet."
Jimin let out a dramatic gasp. "Oho, someone's confident. I love it." He leaned forward, his grin widening. "Alright, tell me. What exactly do you need help with? Do you want to go for the mysterious tease? The sweet and innocent act? Or perhaps… the bold and daring seduction?"
Jungkook made a face. "Ugh, that sounds weird when you say it like that."
Jimin sighed exaggeratedly. "You wound me, Jungkookie. But fine, let’s start simple. Tell me—when was the last time you and Taehyung had some alone time?"
Jungkook paused. "Yesterday."
Jimin nodded. "Good, good. And what did you do?"
Jungkook cleared his throat. "I, uh… I jumped on his back and demanded cuddles until he got annoyed and threw me on the bed."
Jimin blinked. "……"
"……"
Jimin exhaled. "Jungkook."
"Yeah?"
"You’re telling me you want to seduce your husband, but your best move so far has been… being a clingy brat?"
Jungkook frowned. "Hey! It works! He gets all flustered and scolds me, but then he hugs me anyway!"
Jimin groaned, pinching the bridge of his nose. "Okay. Change of plans. Forget seduction—we need to work on technique first."
Jungkook huffed. "Alright, master, tell me what to do."
Jimin smirked, eyes gleaming. "Oh, my dear apprentice… let’s begin your training in the art of desire."
