After days of being sick, the blond was finally back to his usual lively self.

The morning sunlight poured into their shared room, casting a warm glow around as Jungkook lounged on the couch, contemplating how to show his love for his Taehyungie.

Taehyung had left for work, and the quiet of the house made Jungkook’s thoughts race.

“What can I do to win Taehyungie's heart?” he whined, flopping dramatically onto the couch, his face buried in a throw pillow. “I’m terrible at this! What if he thinks I’m just being bratty? What if he doesn't even notice?”

Hours- miinutes actually, passed, and with each tick of the clock, Jungkook's frustration grew. He sat up, rubbing his temples in despair. “I need help. I can’t do this alone!” Without further hesitation, he grabbed his phone and dialed his best friend, one n only, the great, Jung Hoseok.

“Hoseok!” Jungkook exclaimed when Hoseok picked up, his voice echoing with urgency. “I need you! I have no idea how to win Taehyung’s heart!”

“Whoa, calm down there, Kook!” Hoseok replied, his tone teasing yet understanding.

“What’s got you all worked up?”

“I’m serious! Taehyung took care of me while I was sick, making me soup and keeping me company. Now that I’m better, I feel like I need to do something big, you know? Something that says, ‘I love you!’” Jungkook whined, dragging his hand down his face in frustration. “I’m the worst at dating! I have zero experience!”

Hoseok chuckled on the other end.

“You’re being too hard on yourself. Love isn’t a competition, and you don’t need a grand gesture to show how you feel—”

“Then what do I do?” Jungkook huffed, sitting up straight again. “I can’t just sit here! I need to make Taehyung understand that I’m serious about this! I can’t let him think it’s just a phase or something!”

“I might have just the solution for you, then,” Hoseok said, his voice dropping to a conspiratorial tone.

“Really? What is it?” Jungkook leaned forward, his curiosity piqued.

“I’m sending over a friend of mine who’s a total expert at this kind of stuff,” Hoseok replied cheerfully.

“He’s like a dating guru. You’re gonna love him.”

“What? Wait—Hoseok! I don’t want a stranger!” Jungkook exclaimed, panic creeping into his voice.

“What if he’s weird? Or worse, what if Taehyung doesn’t like him?”

“Too late! I already told him to come over. You’ll thank me later!” Hoseok said, completely dismissing Jungkook’s protests.

“Hoseok!” Jungkook groaned. “Don’t just hang up on me! I’m not ready for this!”

But Hoseok had already ended the call, leaving Jungkook alone with his thoughts and an impending sense of dread.

“Great, just great,” he muttered to himself, running his fingers through his hair.

“What am I going to do? I’m not ready for this!”

A couple of hours later…

The doorbell rang, snapping Jungkook out of his spiraling thoughts.

“Who is it?” he called out, peeking through the peephole. His heart raced when he saw a oh so familiar face.

“Surprise!” came the cheerful voice on the other side, and Jungkook opened the door to reveal........... Park Jimin, one great friend of Hoseok's whom Jungkook hardly had a talk with, but yea, he knew him.

“Jiminshii?” Jungkook said, stepping aside to let him in. “What are you doing here?”

“I came to help you win your husband’s heart~” Jimin said dramatically, a playful grin on his face. He looked around the mansion, taking in the decor.

“Nice place you’ve got here, by the way. Very cozy.”

“Thanks, I guess…” Jungkook trailed off, still trying to process the situation.

“Hoseok said you’d be able to help me?”

“Absolutely!” Jimin clapped his hands together, his eyes sparkling with mischief.

“So, tell me everything! What’s the deal with you and Taehyung?”

“Okay, so…” Jungkook hesitated, trying to collect his thoughts.

“Taehyung is my husband, and I’ve realized that I love him. I mean, I really love him. But he’s been through a lot with... ahm, should I tell him? many things recently, and I want to show him that I’m serious about us. But I have no idea how!”

“Aw, that’s so sweet!” Jimin cooed, stepping closer and leaning in slightly.

“You’re such a softie, aren’t you?”

Jungkook felt his cheeks heat up. “I am not” he mumbled, looking away.

Jimin grinned wider, speaking further, ignoring the reply.

“Well, you’re in luck, because I am a dating guru! First things first, let’s figure out his love language. Does he like words of affirmation, quality time, gifts, acts of service, or physical touch?”

“Umm…” Jungkook furrowed his brow in thought. “I think… maybe quality time? He really enjoys it when we spend time together, but he’s also really caring, so acts of service might be it too?”

Jimin nodded approvingly. “Pawfect! So we can start with a cozy evening together. You can cook for him, yk? prepare his favorite meal, and set up a movie night!”

“Cooking? I’m not that great in the kitchen!” Jungkook protested, biting his lip nervously. "I cook quite... often."

“Don’t worry! I can help you with that!" And with that, a stupidly grinning chick dragged out an overly dumbstruck bunny with him. Oh, maybe, it was gonna be fun~ who knows?
