Jungkook sat perched comfortably on the edge of the table in the corner, arms crossed over his chest, his expression full of mischievous amusement as he watched his husband tower over the trembling culprits. Though he hadn’t spoken a word, his wide doe eyes glimmered with satisfaction, his head tilting slightly as Taehyung’s words landed like punches.

It was only when Taehyung ordered the guards to take the siblings away for their "special treatment" that Jungkook finally decided to pipe up.

“Hyung,” Jungkook called sweetly, his tone dripping with mock innocence.

Taehyung’s head turned sharply, his hard features softening at the sight of his husband’s cheeky pout. “What is it, bun?”

Jungkook hopped off the table with an exaggerated sigh, padding over to Taehyung as though he were about to scold him.

“You didn’t even let me have a word with them.” His lower lip jutted out slightly, though the playful glint in his eyes gave him away.

Taehyung’s brow twitched, his anger visibly dissipating as he regarded his bratty spouse.

“What would you have said, bun? Insulted them to tears?”

Jungkook placed a hand dramatically over his chest, feigning offense.

“Me? Insult them? Never! I just wanted to tell them how embarrassing it must feel to have failed so miserably at something as simple as a kidnapping.”

Jimin snorted from his spot by the wall, muttering, “There’s the Jungkook we all know and love.”

Taehyung sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose as a faint smile tugged at his lips. “You’re impossible.”

“And you love it,” Jungkook shot back, smirking as he crossed his arms and leaned closer. “Deny it and get killed, Mr. CEO. You’re totally whipped for me.”

Jimin whistled lowly, his laughter breaking the tension in the room. Taehyung, for all his pride and stoicism, simply chuckled, shaking his head.

“You’re lucky I do, bun. Otherwise, your little antics would’ve gotten you in trouble long ago.”

“Lucky?” Jungkook teased, stepping closer and poking Taehyung in the chest. “Admit it, hyung. I’m the best thing that’s ever happened to you.”

Taehyung caught Jungkook’s hand before he could poke him again, holding it gently as he leaned down to meet his gaze. “You’re more than that,” he murmured, his voice low and sincere. “You’re everything.”

Jungkook’s smirk faltered for a split second, his cheeks tinting a soft pink as he processed Taehyung’s words. But ever the brat, he quickly masked his bashfulness with a scoff, pulling his hand away. “Okay, okay, no need to get all sappy on me.”

Jimin cackled, clapping his hands together. “This is gold. You two are made for each other.”

“Quiet, Park,” Taehyung retorted, though there was no real bite to his words. He turned his attention back to Jungkook, his expression softening. “Are you satisfied now, bun? Or do you have more demands for me?”

Jungkook tapped his chin thoughtfully, his lips curling into a mischievous grin. “Well, since you’re asking… How about a celebratory dinner? You did promise to spoil me after all this mess was over.”

Taehyung sighed again, but the fondness in his eyes was unmistakable. “Fine. Whatever you want, bun.”

“Whatever I want?” Jungkook repeated, raising an eyebrow. “That’s a dangerous thing to say, hyung.”
