Jungkook slumped back on the couch, exasperated, as Jimin sidled up beside him with that familiar glint in his eyes. He’d barely been sitting for five minutes before Jimin was at it again, leaning closer than necessary, flashing that mischievous smile.
“Jungkookie, I don’t think I’ve told you today just how unfairly attractive you are.” Jimin rested his chin on his hand, watching Jungkook with a lazy, flirtatious grin.
“Seriously, what kind of husband gets to be that lucky? Taehyung is missing a gem~”
Jungkook sighed, but a faint blush crept onto his cheeks. “Hyung, you’re relentless, you know that?”
Jimin gasped, putting a hand over his chest in mock offense.
“Relentless? Me?” He scooted even closer, draping an arm over Jungkook’s shoulders. “I’m just being friendly. Appreciating the view. Can’t a guy admire his friend?”
Jungkook rolled his eyes, though he couldn’t hide his smile.
“Friendly is one thing, but you’re making it sound like I’m some kind of… of—”
“Heartthrob?” Jimin supplied, smirking as he ruffled Jungkook’s hair, letting his hand linger a little longer than necessary.
“Come on, look at that face. Do you have any idea how many people would kill for a smile from you? Or how many would melt if you looked at them with those big, round eyes?”
Jungkook turned pink, shifting awkwardly.
“Hyung, stop it!”
Jimin chuckled, clearly enjoying himself.
“Stop what? Pointing out the obvious? Fine, fine,” he said, raising his hands in a mock surrender, only to lean in closer, his voice dropping to a teasing whisper. “But you know, if I didn’t know any better, I’d think you’re trying to hide how much you love the attention.”
Jungkook huffed, crossing his arms. “I don’t love it. You’re just… so over the top. Besides, I don’t want your attention. I’m married, remember?”
“Oh, I remember,” Jimin said with a grin, inching even closer until their faces were only inches apart. “But just because you’re married doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy a little harmless admiration. Your husband’s not here right now, is he?”
Jungkook groaned, trying to turn away, but Jimin grabbed his wrist and pulled him back, his eyes sparkling with mischief.
“Jungkookie,” Jimin said, his tone honey-sweet. “Why so shy? You’re cute when you’re flustered, you know?”
“Ik, my husband has told me that…” Jungkook muttered, his face fully red now as he tried to shake off Jimin’s grip. “And I’m serious. Quit it.”
Jimin chuckled, clearly not fazed.
“Aw, look at that pout. How can I resist?” He leaned in, winking as he spoke in a dramatic whisper. “Honestly, I’m starting to wonder if you’re just trying to play hard to get.”
Jungkook raised his hands in defeat. “Hyung, you’re..... arghhh, you'regetting annoying!”
“Annoying?” Jimin echoed with an innocent blink, letting his fingers trail down Jungkook’s arm. “You’re making it sound like I’m doing something wrong. I’m just admiring my dear friend’s beauty. Can’t a friend do that?”
Jungkook’s blush deepened as he stared at Jimin, caught between annoyance and something else he didn’t quite understand.
“Hyung… it’s not like that. You’re just… you’re too much, okay?”
