Okay… maybe......... THE IDEA OF THE MOVIE WAS A BAD IDEA to Taehyung.
Because after only three movies, here they were, watching Titanic—again.
Taehyung had seen Titanic ages ago. He had liked it once, even appreciated its grandeur and drama. But watching it repeatedly? That was a different story altogether.
Jungkook, on the other hand, looked completely absorbed, his eyes glued to the screen, probably watching for the hundredth time, but still as captivated as ever. Taehyung sighed inwardly. Watching it once was fine… but again and again? Not really.
He glanced at Jungkook, whose face was lit up by the screen’s glow. There was a soft smile on his lips, his eyes wide with excitement at every iconic scene. It was clear Jungkook adored this movie, and Taehyung didn’t have the heart to suggest they change it.
But god… could they at least fast-forward the iceberg part?
Taehyung shifted in his seat, trying to find a comfortable position on the couch as the familiar music of Titanic filled the room. He could practically recite some of the lines by heart at this point.
He glanced at Jungkook again, who was now hugging a cushion, eyes completely glued to the screen, waiting for the iconic scene on the ship’s bow. Taehyung sighed.
How could he love this so much?
His gaze softened, watching Jungkook’s excitement. The younger man looked so peaceful, a small smile tugging at the corners of his lips. It was moments like this that made Taehyung realize just how important these little things were to Jungkook—things like watching his favorite movie over and over, despite how repetitive it seemed.
Taehyung let out another soft sigh.
"You really love this movie, don’t you?" he mumbled, leaning slightly toward Jungkook.
Jungkook turned to him, his eyes sparkling with enthusiasm.
"It’s a classic! How can anyone not love it?" he replied, his voice a little too cheerful for someone who had already watched the movie a thousand times.
Taehyung chuckled, though inside he was plotting an escape from the next Titanic marathon.
"Yeah… it’s great," he said, trying his best to sound sincere.
Jungkook leaned his head on Taehyung’s shoulder, snuggling into him, his attention still fixed on the screen. "Thanks for watching it with me again."
Taehyung froze for a second at the unexpected closeness, feeling Jungkook’s soft hair brushing against his neck. His heart did a little flip. Despite his thoughts about the movie, he found himself smiling down at Jungkook.
"Yeah… of course," Taehyung murmured, relaxing a little. "But next time, I’m choosing the movie."
Jungkook chuckled softly. "Deal."

The next morning
“Jungkook, wake up.” Taehyung’s voice was soft, yet insistent as he gently shook the younger, who was bundled under the hotel sheets like a stubborn cocoon.
A muffled groan was the only response.
“Hyung, no... not now.” Jungkook’s voice was thick with sleep, and he refused to even crack open an eye.
Taehyung rolled his eyes, smirking.
“Come on, Kookie. We’re going somewhere. You’ll love it, I promise.” He pulled the blanket down, revealing Jungkook’s sleepy, scowling face.
