Ki set the table for breakfast while Lisa was applying the final touches to her makeup. Being a natural beauty, she used minimal enhancements to accentuate her look. She grabbed her shawl and proceeded down to Ki.

Ki stood at the table, pouring coffee and arranging the croissants in a basket.

"Good morning," Lisa said energetically as she walked in.

Ki looked up at her and returned the greeting. "I wasn't sure what you liked for breakfast, so I ordered several things."

He pulled out her chair, and as she sat down with a smile, he began, "We have a full day ahead, and I wanted to start by saying how beautiful you look this morning." Ki was nervous, and it was evident to Lisa.

After Ki took his seat, they began their breakfast, reviewing the itinerary for the day. Lisa observed him over her coffee cup, noting his avoidance of eye contact. She mentally rehearsed her words and gently reached for his hand. "We need to talk about last night, so we can enjoy the rest of our trip," Lisa said, and the fear that flashed across his face was unmistakable.

Ki composed himself and agreed.

"I understand you confessed to me last night, and I'm not overlooking the courage it took for you to do that. I just need some time to process everything—this is all new to me. If we started dating, you'd be my first boyfriend. I don't take this lightly, and I want to make sure we're on the same page, that our communication is clear, and that we understand each other's needs during the dating phase." Lisa was sincere, and Ki realized she wasn't rejecting the possibility of them together.

He smiled gently at her, conveying his understanding and assuring her that it would be fine; he would wait for her.

Myung was already strategizing her approach to Lisa. "Hello, my name is Myung Eun, the daughter of Chairman Eun from Korea. I am organizing an event for the families of esteemed Founders and have learned that Violinist Lisa Ryu Sebong is currently in Korea. We would be honored if she could perform at our event," Myung carefully phrased her invitation to ensure it was just right.

"Well, she's here on vacation, I'm not sure if she'll be available... I can ask her. When is your event scheduled?" her publicist inquired.

"May 12th. I hope she'll still be in the region; her performance would truly make this year's event special," Myung replied, jotting down the date... which was only a week away.

"I'll let her know and have her call you. She's in the countryside for two days and won't return until Sunday night," the publicist informed her. Myung gripped the pen tightly and pressed it against the paper. She knew she was here, and the friend her mother mentioned must be Lisa.

Myung ended her call stressfully sat down and realized at that moment, that Ki was truly ending things with her for that woman.

She rose to dress for the day; two days seemed an eternity to wait as thoughts of Ki and Lisa ran rampant through Myung's mind.

She reflected on the situation and decided to contact KI's assistant to inquire about their accommodation and the reasons for it, however, she received no answer.

She was losing her grip, her disbelief began to shift towards anger and thoughts of payback.

She called her closest friend, another heiress who had a way of finding people. She dialed the number..." Hello..." a soft seductress voice answered.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Myung asked.

"Getting in my car, headed to breakfast with Mingi. Why?"

"I need your help, I need to find Ki and the bitch he dumbed me for," Myung said seeming off-hinged.

"Are you okay? It's too early for drama; call me later," Zair said. "No, I need your help now," Myung insisted. "Look, you have to let this go. The engagement was bad enough. Ki has moved on; it's only been three weeks. If he isn't returning the favor, he's done," Zair stated coldly but bluntly.

"Are you going to help me or not?" Myung asked.

"Call me this afternoon," Zair replied before hanging up the phone.
