After the concert, Ki and Lisa went out to dinner. It was late evening, and he wanted to make it a special night. Ki's confession lingered in her mind; she stared at him, content in his company. It had been such a short time since their last meeting months ago, and now they were in Korea. Not by chance on Ki part, he knew she was coming, but the chance for Lisa.

She needed certainty—was this fate?

Lisa's grandmother had been seeking a suitor for her, part of the reason for bringing her to Korea. It was about establishing the family name through marriage. She had no say in her son's choice, which, fortunately, turned out well upon meeting her granddaughter.

The plan for the party was to introduce Lisa to Korea's wealthy and established society.

"How was the concert?" Ki inquired as they awaited their meal.

"Beautiful. I'm glad I came; it's so rich in culture," she replied. This helps me understand where my father came from and fills a gap in my history that has always been missing from my life.

My story is a sad one, but I will save that for another time. Tonight is about us and this beautiful day. "You seem quiet, is everything alright?" Lisa asked. Ki was worried about Myung; her behavior had escalated, and he needed to address it upon his return to Seoul.

He smiled at her as the food was being set down on the table. for them. .. "It's nothing, I just wanted to make this a memorable day for you," He said. "Mr.Beom, you have exceeded expectations, thank you," she replied with a smile as they began to eat.

Myung was feeling anxious; she seemed off and began to drink more than usual. She persistently called Ki's phone, leaving various messages. Since discovering Ki was with Lisa, she hadn't slept, and her anger about the situation grew.

She sat down to eat something. It was more or less playing with her food and not eating at all. Her glass was empty and she went to open a new bottle of whiskey. It was going to be a long night with her.

"Hey, there are fireworks tonight to celebrate the festival, I thought we could go see them down by the lake that overlooks the music venue.." Ki said hoping she would agree. " Lisa agreed, and Ki paid the bill for dinner. Then, they set out back to the lake.

They were leaving the next day...

Myung's friend visited her, intending to talk some sense into her about Ki. Her plans and tricks could potentially alienate her completely, earlier, she had asked her friend together some information on Lisa's family... Which her friend had brought with her.

Myung answered the door; she was disheveled and intoxicated.

"What's the matter, My... look at you, completely out of control. Come, sit down," Seini said, at a loss for words.

"I can't handle this; I miss him!" Myung slurred.

"My, you've got to move on. He has, and you can do so much better," Seini said as she fetched water and capped the whiskey bottle.

"Did you bring the information for me?" Myung sat up eagerly.

"Yes, but first, please sober up. Drink this or let me get some medication for you," Seini said, heading to the bathroom for some hangover remedies.
