It had been two days since Ki and Lisa returned from their weekend trip. The formal party for Lisa was in 8 hrs.

Lisa never returns the invite from Myung...She could not add anything else to her schedule.

Myung was furious and decided to pay Lisa a visit. Ki was busy at work, tied up in meetings, but he had not forgotten the conversation with Sensai. Concerned Myung would do something foolish, he would pay her a visit.
There was minimal conversation between Ki and Lisa, yet Ki wanted to take the next step with her. He was a patient man who loved her and wanted to see the relationship grow. He understood her abrasiveness but wanted her by his side.

"I'll be out of the area the rest of the day, nothing is pending just make sure the next shipment of the silks gets sent out today," Ki told his assistant.

"Yes, Sir," Ki affirmed as he left his office and headed toward the hallway elevator.

"Hey, don't I know you?" a man called out, looking up at him. Ki turned to face the man and replied,

"No, I don't believe we've met." As the elevator doors opened, Ki stepped inside, followed by the man.

"Wait, are you Beom Seok Ki?" Not recognizing the man, Ki quickly dismissed any notion the stranger had and exited the elevator to walk toward his car.

The man, a reporter, was in the building on unrelated business when he encountered Ki. Given the speculation surrounding Ki and his father, he deemed it newsworthy.

Ki sat in his car, and called Myung.

"Hello..."

"Lisa, this is Ki... how are you?" Lisa was taken by surprise, but her smiles and the way she handled the call made it clear she was pleased to hear from him.

"I'm fine, how about you?" she inquired, maintaining a composed demeanor, seemingly unconcerned as an ex-girlfriend.

"Great, I thought I could stop by your office and take you to dinner. there is something I want to discuss with you." Ki said as if she didn't know what it was.

"Let me check the rest of my day; hold on for a second..." Lisa set the phone down, ecstatic about the invitation. She waited a minute and then picked the phone up again.

"Send me the address; I'll drive and meet you there," Myung said, not wanting to be stranded if things became uncomfortable.

"Sure, see you in an hour," Ki replied before hanging up the phone. He stopped by the florist to place an order for the event tonight at Lisa's grandmother's party for Lisa. He then called the jeweler to confirm that the gift was ready for pickup.

These events are typically designed to introduce an eligible daughter or granddaughter to society for marriage prospects. If this was her intention Ki would need to present himself as a suitable suitor.

Lisa stood in the ballroom of the estate watching her grandmother oversee the final preparations for the event. She had never had the opportunity to be privy to such an affluent societal culture, and it was beginning to overwhelm her. She needed to discuss the details of the evening with her grandmother.

Myung switched her daytime attire for something more formal; she wanted to look her best for Ki thinking both of them would go to Lisa's Grandmother's Party as a Couple. She considered the invitation wishful thinking she was hoping that Ki had changed his mind was all she could focus on. "Maybe he found out over the weekend that this Lisa is not his type after all." Myung mind started racing, convincing herself that Ki had come to his senses.
