Lisa remained at Ki's behest. He wished to speak with her and express his gratitude for her performance at his residence. Ki seized the opportunity to communicate his reflections and the messages he intended to impart from their shared moments in England.

He felt anxious.

He arranged for coffee and pastries, marking the evening's triumph. She was keen to grasp his reasons for summoning her and inquired about it. Confronting someone like Seok Ki, she was never at a loss for words.

They settled into his Music room where she was immediately struck by his appreciation for culture and the arts it was a beautiful room she thought.

He served her a cup of coffee, and they began to chat. Ki found himself captivated by her beautiful eyes.

She became aware of his gaze and blushed. "If you don't mind me asking, what prompted this invitation tonight?" she inquired. He smiled over his coffee, realizing this was the moment to express his affection for her.

"Do you remember me?" he asked. She looked up at him, smiled, and quickly acknowledged that she did. "I do... you were curious about the sonata I played and asked a lot of questions during our sessions at the conference. I found you intriguing also." Lisa said.

"Likewise, you play beautifully. The poise and depth of emotion in your performance is what I admire about your music," Ki said as they spent the next hour getting acquainted.

"If you don't mind me saying, I also find you intriguing. Your family, like mine, is well-known in our careers. You come from a background of wealth and prestige. My story isn't as fortunate; I only met my grandmother a week ago. I believe that life should be lived, not governed by the rules of heritage or family traditions," Lisa explained.

Ki was surprised by her candidness about her inheritance. "Then, what are your thoughts on arranged marriages and the extent of parental control over their children's futures in this regard?"

"I suppose there are some benefits to preserving traditions and heritage passing them on to generations and maintaining them for future reference, but can it truly lead to happiness if you're governed by your family's wishes and neglect your own?"

she said, eliciting a surprised expression on Ki's face.

The conversation, was truly complex and refreshing.... it was getting late and Lisa excused herself for the night, thanked him again for having her, and proceeded to grab her wrap and purse and head out to her car.

"Thank you again for performing. Would you like to have dinner with me? I would love to show you around Korea, perhaps even take you to the countryside," Ki said, feeling nervous about her response.

"I would love that. It's been a wonderful night, and I'll be waiting for your call," she said as he helped her into the car.
