Ki invited a select group of close friends to enjoy an intimate performance by Lisa, marking the event as both personal and private. Invitations were extended to only a handful of friends. His newly completed home boasted a modern, artistic design. completed with a courtyard, garden, and a sleek, beautiful aesthetic. The music room featured marble floors and intricate lighting, creating the perfect ambiance for any occasion.

Ki was something of a historian who was deeply passionate about the history of art, literature, and music. It could be said that the room was designed for her.

Lisa was getting ready to leave; she had yet to meet her host and wanted to ensure there was enough time for interaction. Her publicist, who also received an invitation, was there to ensure everything proceeded as expected. Lisa's grandmother, who had never heard her play, was also invited. Both Ki and Lisa's grandmother were filled with anticipation for the night.

She realized the invitation bore the mark of The Beom Group, a symbol also recognized among circles of families with historic lineage and wealth. For some reason, Detective Myung had discovered Ki's current residence and was surveilling the property from his car, positioned on the long path leading to the gate.

He was taking pictures of the property and the traffic flowing into and out of it. He realized that a party was about to take place.

Myung wrapped a sheet around her waist, glancing at the man who had been a casual fling. She gently stroked the back of his neck before rising to shower, preparing to leave. Thoughts of Ki lingered close by.

She received a text message from Detective Kim, requesting her presence at an address. He hadn't indicated it was Ki's new residence, but she surmised he might have information on Lisa's connections in Korea.

She left money for her lover, kissed him goodbye, and set off. Casting one last glance at the address, she embarked on her journey. A limousine arrived and proceeded through the gates of Ki's estate. It was Lisa. She marveled at the illuminated driveway, bordered by towering trees in full bloom leading to the main house. The balmy night breeze carried the trees' sweet fragrance to her.

Ki was welcoming his guests, the limousine door swung open, and Lisa emerged in a backless, low-cut formal gown. She followed the other guests into the house. Ki caught sight of her, and his heart skipped a beat. He smiled as he exchanged pleasantries with the guests, then promptly had the staff escort them to the event area to be seated.

Lisa paused to greet her host. Ki's gaze lingered on her delicate yet stunning silhouette. He smiled and offered a warm hello. She expressed her gratitude for the invitation to perform, unaware at first that he was the man she had met in England and with whom she had spent three months at a Music Seminar.
