Ki and Sensei's conversation grew increasingly intense, yet Ki was prepared to open up if Sensei could bring some realistic perspective to Myung. "I'm not pleased with Myung's excessive efforts to locate a friend of mine. Lisa Seong is here as a guest, visiting her esteemed family, and Myung's actions concerning her are excessive," Ki stated bluntly, confronting Sensei with his awareness of her intentions.

"Ki, you were the one who called off the wedding and became vague. Then Lisa shows up; what do you expect Myung to think?"

"It's not what she thinks, besides, she needs to stop spreading rumors about me and focus on moving on with her life. Does she think I'm unaware of her sexual meet-ups?" Ki informed Sensei that he was aware of Myung's liaisons with Choni. "Oh, you know about that!"
"Yes, I'm aware of them, and that's partly why she's not right for me... I don't mean to look down on her; it's just that a responsible woman wouldn't do these things. Myung is still too immature for the responsibilities of marriage. I need a partner who can walk with me through marriage, and her recent and past behavior shows she's not ready," Ki explained to Sensei.

"I understand, but you should be clear about your reasons. I think deep down she knows, but she just hates losing to someone else. She suspects there's more to your relationship with Lisa than you've admitted," Sensei replied.

"We're on different paths; she needs to find someone who can give her what she desires," Ki pointed out.

"Thank you, I hope you two can resolve things. I'll support her through this. Just be aware that she has strong feelings about Lisa," Sensei remarked.

"Noted. I'll call her to discuss everything, but she needs to move on," Ki concluded.

The call ended, but Myung had been listening from the top of the stairs.

Sensei turned around and saw her standing there. "Oh, you're up!" he exclaimed.

"Who were you talking to?" Myung asked, descending the stairs with a vile look on her face.

"It was Ki. He called for you, but you were asleep," Sensei explained.

Myung snatched her phone, glanced at it, and then fixed her gaze on Sensei. "What did you say to him?" she demanded.

"Myung, let's not do this. You know what I asked him. Ki is not the problem; you are, and you have to move on. He has," Sensei said, looking at her with concerned eyes.

"He may have, but I haven't. And until I say I'm ready to move on... I won't rest until I get him back, and I'll make anyone who gets in my way pay for their interference, including you, Sensei. Now leave!" Myung declared.

Sensei picked up the enveloped she brought her and started for the door to leave.

"Wait, the information I asked you for?" Myung asked her.. Sensei did not respond and walked out of her home.

"I don't need it, I have my ways, I don't need anyone but Ki."
