_______________
Bai Yutong walks down the corridors with powerful steps. His whole being exuded confidence and authority. Nothing about him seemed even the least bit off. Only people who knew him really well could have noticed the impatience in his steps and the darkness he masked underneath his unbreakable mask of a handsome face.
But none of such people were present at that moment. It was just Bai Yutong, walking down the seemingly endless corridor on his own. A light flickered lightly but he did not even seem to notice it. His steps were unfaltering and his expression unmoving. On a closer look, one might have been able to see the madness flickering in his gaze. But most people would not even dare to meet his eyes from the beginning, so who could have possibly noticed?
From the very start, there was only one person who could perfectly and accurately read Bai Yutong. And that is who he was going to right now.
Bai Yutong placed his thumb on the fingerprint-scanner, a soft click sounding from the door as it opened. He entered the room and upon his entry the two additional guards quickly jumped to their feet to greet him with a deep bow before hurriedly leaving the room.
With the guards gone, Yutong finally allowed himself to relax a little bit but he did not let down his guard completely. There was still one more person in the room with him. The man had long noticed his arrival but simply did not acknowledge his presence. He just calmly laid on his bed and read a book - completely unbothered by Bai Yutong's existence.Bai Yutong stretched the muscles in his tense shoulders and neck while viewing him with an unblinking gaze.
"Hello Zhan Yao, how are you?", he finally asked seemingly polite and calm. But inside he was livid. There was no other man besides the one in front of him who could make him lose all control - who could make him go berserk like this. It was Zhan Yao who turned him into this kind of man - completely obsessed.
Zhan Yao, however, still did not bother to pay attention to Bai Yutong. Only when Bai Yutong opened the doors to the cell and entered it, did Zhan Yao finally spare him a bored glance. Yutong closed the cell door behind him, the bars rattling when he did. His unbreaking gaze was still focused on Zhan Yao.
Despite trying to keep up his act of ignoring Bai Yutong, Zhan Yao was still mesmerized.Since he was a child, Bai Yutong has always had striking features - only improving as he got older - shedding his childish cuteness to transform into a mature, masculine and highly attractive man.
But his eyes. His eyes had always been his most captivating feature. They exuded authority and strength but at the same time gentleness and care. They were like a chocolate whirlpool - swirling and twirling and drawing you in until you drown in them - unable to escape. The effect of Bai Yutong's strong unwavering gaze made most people unable to meet his eyes but Zhan Yao always loved looking deep inside them - allowing himself to drown within the bottomless sea of that sweet brown.
Bai Yutong let himself lean against the bars in his back and crossed his arms in front of his chest - piercing Zhan Yao with his eyes.
