i was so fucking nervous and the look on ivy's face wasn't helping calm my nerves at all.

it looked like i caught her off guard and she looked.. scared.

i don't know if i'm reading into things but i swear i see tears in her eyes.

"baby, why're you crying what's wrong" i said as i cupped her cheeks.

she was full on sobbing now and i pulled her into my wet chest as i stroked her back gently.

"tell me what's wrong please" i know i sounded desperate but this reaction made me want to go back in time and never say what i just said.

it felt like the right thing to say in this moment and i don't regret it at all but if that's what's making her cry then i'd rather not have said it.

"you love me" she muttered and looked up at me with red, swollen eyes.

i didn't know how to take the statement so the next thing i said sounder more like a question than an answer.

"yes?" she giggled softly at me confused face making a smile grow on my face, she's laughing that's good.

"you gonna tell me what's wrong now" i looked at her pleadingly.

"you love me" she sighed out and looked back down.

"is that a .. bad thing?" i asked hesitantly, scared of her response.

"no! no not at all" she was quick to cancel that thought out of my mind.

"i've just never had someone genuinely love me before" she said softly while gazing into my eyes, holding my intense gaze.

"well now you do and i love you more than words could describe" i said i used my knuckles to stroke her cheek.

she let out a grunt before jumping on me and hugging me tightly, she wrapped her legs around my waist and i supported her with my hands on her thighs.

"i don't know what i did to deserve you but you are truly a blessing to me owen, i love you" i froze, like actually froze.

she pulled her face away from my neck and looked at me with a smile on her face.

"ivy are you serious right now because if you're not i'll actually die" i wasn't even being dramatic , i was so fucking serious.

she let out a loud laugh and nodded her head.

verbal response or not she loved me.

"she loves me" i shouted into the quiet night as i spun her around making her giggle.

the rain had stopped now and here we there in the middle of an empty parking lot announcing our undying love for each other.

dramatic? maybe a little.

"ivy you don't understand how happy that makes me" i said genuinely.

"well why don't you show me how happy it makes you" she trailed off and looked in the direction of my car.

"here? hell no!" i protested and she looked at me with a 'are you serious' look.

"way to kill the moment" she said sarcastically before jumping off me and walking in the direction of my car.

"wait wait why don't i show you at my hotel" i said immediately catching her attention.

"i'll be waiting in the car" she said seductively before strutting off making her ass shake with each step she took.

i let out a grunt before walking towards the drivers side, getting in, not even sparing a glance at ivy and speeding home.

i can't wait.
