first period dragged so bad. i don't know what the fuck my mum was thinking picking french when i could barely speak proper english.

i was very excited for second period though. i had english and yes i said i was bottom set for everything EXCEPT for english i was top set english from year 7-11 and i loved my English teacher she was the only teacher i liked in that goddamn school.

she made me love writing it's one of my fav things to do after drawing. i loved art and i had it for last period today which was amazing.

i walked into the class making everyone's eyes immediately fall on me. why's the class so full already im 5 fucking minutes early,i came 5 mins early just so this wouldn't happen and it still happens bc everyone in this school are a bunch of fucking neeks.

i stood there since the teacher hadn't realised i came in yet till someone cleared their throat and she looked up and spotted me,she had the biggest grin on her face and i wanted to kill myself after the words she uttered next.

"why hello dear, are you new here? would you mind introducing yourself to everyone please." if it were any other teacher i would say no and walk to find an empty seat but she looked  sweet so i sucked it up and turned to face the class.

"my names ivy i'm 17 and i just moved to here from england".

after i said that people started murmuring and staring at me like im some wild animal.(defo racially motivated)like they've never seen or heard a british person before.

i rolled my eyes before kindly smiling at the teacher while walking to the only empty seat next to this beautiful girl with dark green eyes and two piercings on either side of her nose.

As i sat next to her i smiled warmly at her while she returned it, i looked into my bag and got out my books and pen i need for this class and set them on my table but as i looked up i saw majority of the classes eyes on me making me squint my eyes and give them all questioning looks.

some turned around once i held eye contact while others stared at me shamelessly pissing me the fuck off.

i sucked my teeth while opening my books and writing down the date.

the girl suddenly leaned in and whispered to me "hi i'm maia ignore them this school is so dead that when something or someone new comes in they don't know how to act. i love your outfit btw it's so cute!! where are your shoes from".

i smiled at her glad someone's talking to me and told her my shoes are from stockx. i also thanked her and said if i hold one more stare i would punch the person in the nose making her laugh loudly which made people look at us quizzingly while i flipped them off.

she asked if i wanted to sit with her and her other friend at lunch today to which i said yes cause ain't no way i'm looking like some neeky year 7 seating by myself.

she said her friends name was nova and me and her would get along really well making me smile happy that might be making friends on my first day who would've thought
