i met nova and maia infront of my french class and we talked as we headed towards the field, where the football guys train.

once we reached the field i saw loads of girls staring at the boys train, i mean wouldn't blame them they're all shirtless but they best not be staring at my Owen.

me,nova and maia found places on the bleacher,all the cheerleaders where in front of us chatting away and i couldn't help listen into their conversation.

"yeah i'm totally like gonna ask him out after practice and he's like totally gonna say yes" a blonde said confidently to her click while they all agreed with her.

"yeah you and Owen are totally meant to be" her friend replied making me and seemingly nova and maia freeze.

"psssst, yo pssst ivy! they're talking about your man" nova whisper shouted while nudging me.

"i think i know nova i'm listening too" i whisper shouted back.

"you guys aren't actually whispering by the way" nova whisper shouted at both of us.

i went on my phone and TikTok with maia's head on my shoulder watching with me to pass time.

it had been a few hours and the cheer leaders hadn't left but thankfully owen's practice was over.

he pushed his sweaty hair out of his face and looked up and around the bleachers.

once he spotted me a huge smile broke out on his face, he made a signal for me to come over and i stood up, nova and maia by my side.

once i reached him he wrapped his hand around my waist and pulled me into a hug.

"ew you're sweaty, get off of me" i squealed while he just chuckled.

"it's just sweat baby" he muttered into my ear making a shiver go through my body.

"go shower i'll wait outside the changing rooms yeah" i said to which he nodded too and started leading us towards the changing room as we chatted. nova,maia,Ron and j behind us.

we had to walk past the bleachers and the cheerleaders who all glared at me and looked me up and down.

i just smirked at the one specific person talking about Owen and went on my tip toes to kiss his cheek, to which he looked at me confusedly but still smiled at me nonetheless.

i looked back and stuck my tongue out at all of them as they stared at me with wide eyes.

i heard nova and maia laughing behind me and nova whisper "my kind of petty".

to which i looked back and saw them dabbing each other up.

i just laughed and shook my head while Owen still lead us to the changing rooms.
