Chapter 15: Marking What's Mine
Filip's POV
The moment Rena bolted through the crowd, a fire ignited inside me. I had given her freedom, taken her out, showed her trust-yet she still tried to run. It wasn't just betrayal I felt as I pulled her back into my arms; it was a surge of possessiveness, more intense than ever before. I couldn't lose her. Not to anyone, and certainly not to her own doubts.
As I led her out of the mall, her body tense beside me, my mind swirled with a new plan. I needed something more permanent, something that would remind her-and everyone else-that she belonged to me. No more running. No more doubt. She needed to see, to feel, that we were bound together forever.
That's when the idea struck me.
A tattoo. A symbol of us. Not just a simple mark, but something that would last forever-our names, intertwined with the word love. It would be a permanent reminder of our connection, something she could never escape from, something neither of us could forget.
Later that night, I sat in my office, staring at the sketch I had drawn up. Two names-Filip and Rena-woven together with the word love looping around them. Simple but undeniable. A mark of ownership and devotion.
Rena had tried to run, but she didn't understand that no matter how far she went, I would always be there to pull her back. This tattoo would seal that bond.
I picked up my phone and called Leon. "I need a tattoo artist. Someone discreet."
"Filip, are you sure about this?" Leon's voice was cautious, but he knew better than to argue when I had made up my mind.
"I'm sure," I said firmly. "It's time to make things permanent."
This would be more than a symbol-it would be a message to Rena, to the world, that she was mine. There would be no more running. And if she couldn't see it yet, this tattoo would be the first step in making her understand.
