Chapter 10: A Dangerous Obsession

Filip's POV

I couldn't take it anymore. The distance between Rena and me felt like a blade slicing deeper with each day that passed. Every time I saw her with someone else, even from afar, the possessiveness inside me grew, choking out any rational thought. She was slipping away, and I couldn't allow that.

I tried to give her time, space-everything she asked for-but it wasn't working. My love for her had twisted into something darker, something I couldn't control. I had to have her, even if it meant crossing a line I swore I'd never cross.

Late one night, I sat in my office, surrounded by shadows and silence, a plan forming in my mind. I knew Rena wouldn't come back to me willingly, not after everything that had happened, but if I took matters into my own hands, I could make her understand that we belonged together. She'd see the truth once she was away from all the distractions, once she was mine completely.

I called Leon, my most trusted associate. "I need your help," I said, my voice cold and resolute. "We're going to take Rena."

There was a pause on the other end. "Filip... are you sure about this? Kidnapping her could make things worse."

"I've thought about it long enough," I replied, my jaw clenched. "I can't lose her. She'll understand once I explain. She just needs time away from everyone else."

Leon sighed but didn't argue. "What's the plan?"

"We'll wait until the graduation party," I said, my mind racing. "Everyone will be distracted. We'll make it quick, quiet. No one will know until it's too late."

The plan felt dangerous, reckless, but the more I thought about it, the more it seemed like the only way. Rena would be upset at first, but I'd make her see-she'd realize that no one else could love her the way I did. No one else would protect her like I could.

I spent the next few days fine-tuning the details, my mind consumed by the thought of having her close, where no one could interfere. I told myself it was for her own good, that she needed to be protected from a world that didn't understand her, didn't understand us.

When the night of the party arrived, I stood in the shadows, watching her laugh and celebrate with her friends. She was beautiful, glowing, but she didn't realize that every moment spent without me was a risk she couldn't afford. The longer she stayed away, the greater the chance that someone would hurt her, take her from me. I couldn't let that happen.

As the evening wore on, I signaled Leon. It was time.

Rena's POV

I had never felt so free. Graduation was a dream come true, and for the first time in months, I wasn't thinking about Filip. I had worked hard to move on, to focus on my future, and tonight was about celebrating that freedom with the people who mattered.

But as the night went on, I couldn't shake a strange feeling, a sense of being watched. I glanced around the party, scanning the crowd, but saw nothing unusual. It was probably just the nerves from the big day.

Suddenly, the air shifted. I was talking to a friend when I felt a hand on my arm-strong, familiar. I turned, startled, and there he was. Filip.

"Filip?" I whispered, heart pounding. "What are you doing here?"

He didn't respond. Before I could process what was happening, he tightened his grip and pulled me towards a waiting car, his eyes dark and determined.

"Filip, stop!" I yelled, but my voice was drowned out by the music and chatter of the party. No one noticed as he forced me into the car, the door slamming shut behind us.

Panic surged through me as the car sped off, taking me further from the life I had just begun to reclaim. I looked at him, tears stinging my eyes. "What are you doing? This isn't the way, Filip."

His voice was calm, chilling. "I'm protecting you, Rena. You'll understand soon. I can't let you go. Not ever."

As the city lights blurred outside the window, I realized I was trapped, caught in a web of Filip's possessive love.
