Chapter: 27 {It's Fine, It's Over}

(A/N: Okay so if your wondering what time it is in the book or I mean month the month right now is towards the end of May and going on June. Just if their was any confusion.)

"Hey Rowan." Said John as he slid his arm around her waist.

"Hi." She said sadly.

"What's wrong?" Asked John.

"Nothing, it's just this year has been extremely crazy and difficult." Said Rowan as a sigh escaped her mouth.

"You can say that again. But you know what? I'm happy this year has been so crazy and difficult! I mean really we have to thank Peyton-"

"Yea. But just look at him. He's totally turned into fuckboy mode!" Said Rowan sadly.

"Yep." Said John as he looked at Rowan's eyes.

She likes him. He thought.

"Rowan do you like me?" Asked John.

"Hmm? Oh yea! Of course I do John." Said Rowan.

Rowan isn't like any girl I've ever met, she's different. Most girls would be "AHHH IM DATING JOHN BLAKE!!" Or at least telling me they like/love me 24/7. But I like Rowan, she's calm, even with Peyton she was calm. I know Rowan really likes Peyton he'll always be her first crush! But I got to get him back for her. I got to turn this fuckboy back to PEYTON! Sure I'm crazy about Rowan and sometimes when you really love someone you have to make it right. Thought John. Rowan and I are not right, and the reason we are not right is because she likes Peyton.

"So there's the dance coming up. The Summer Beach one, we should... Uh... Go together." Said Rowan.

"Yea we should." Said John.

"Yep." Said Rowan awkwardly.

"I'll be right back." Said John as he walked over to Peyton who was happily kissing Olivia's mouth.

"You like this?" Asked John.

What is he doing? Thought Rowan.

"You like kissing Olivia even though you have no feelings for her what so ever!? YOU HAVE CHANGED ALOT IN THE PAST FEW DAYS AND IM GIVING YOU A CHANCE BRO! Pretty soon your going to smell of desperation! Rowan really likes you. She does. And watching you make out with Olivia hurts her. Where's the boy that once stood by her side? The boy that hated being what you are now! You were the glue to Rowan's life and without you everything would fall apart. Everything IS falling apart, tell me where did he go?" Asked John.

"He got burned!" Laughed Olivia.

"Yea!" Said Peyton with a smirk on his face. "And aren't you dating Rowan?" Asked Peyton.

"I am." Said John.

"Wait but-"

"She likes me but it's obvious she likes you more." Said John. "Look I'm not here to talk about me, I'm here to make things right." Said John.

"Okay then leave! That would be right!" Said Peyton laughing.

"Yea maybe in your opinion, ME PUNCHING YOU IN THE FACE WOULD BE RIGHT TO ME BECAUSE YOU REALLY DESERVE IT ASSHOLE!" Yelled John. "But I won't because inside of you there is still Peyton Meyer. What you are now isn't Peyton Meyer... See you at the dance." Said John as he trailed off back to Rowan.
