Chapter: 23 {Rowan Stop Running!}

Peyton grabbed the boys hall pass and ran after Rowan.

What is she doing? He thought.

Finally he grabbed her shirt and pulled her back. He looked at Rowan, the tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Rowan!" He said in concern.

"Peyton I made out with Chris." She said finally.

"Yes I know, I made out with Olivia, it's fine it was a crazy party, I'm not mad honey." Said Peyton pulling her in.

"No!" Said Rowan pushing off. "I made out with him today." She continued.

"WHAT! Rowan why?" Asked Peyton.

"I don't know. He's just so-"

"Rowan! He wants to use you! Why? Don't let him do this, your going to get hurt!" Said Peyton.

"Maybe he's changed!" Said Rowan.

"Chris hasn't changed since puberty!" Laughed Peyton.

"Rowan if you don't want to "Date Me" then whatever, but you can't let Chris kiss you, that's what he wants! He wants to kiss you then that will lead on to-"

"Lead on to what?" Asked Chris.

"Chris?" Said Rowan.

"Come on Peyton you should've saw the way this baby kissed me. She kissed me good, even when I pulled away she fell back in. Like she was dealing with Chris fever!" Said Chris with a smirk.

"Rowan, do what you want! If your just going to hurt me every time then I guess we're done." Said Peyton.

"Peyton-"

"Rowan forget him, we have lost time to make up." Said Chris.

"What?" Said Rowan.

Chris grabbed Rowan's hand and led her to an empty classroom where they kissed and kissed.

"Chris wait, what about Peyton?" Asked Rowan sadly.

"Forget about him, we have each other." Laughed Chris.

"But Chris." Said Rowan.

"No." Said Chris as he pulled Rowan back to his lips where they stayed not coming up for air.

-At break-

At break Chris' arm stayed around Rowan not letting her escape.

I'm trapped. Thought Rowan. Chris is way to clingy. God what is he doing? Is this the real him? The real fuckboy?

"Rowan you want a drink?" Asked Chris as they got to the school lunch counter.

"I'm good." Said Rowan quietly.

"Hey! Women! I'm talking to you! You want a drink?!" Asked Chris again.

"Yes please." Said Rowan speaking up.

Rowan felt intimidated, she felt trapped, confused, angry, sad, and well she missed Peyton. He never treated her like this.

He likes me. If he didn't like me, then why at the party would he sneak into the bed and pretend to be Peyton? He loves me. Thought Rowan.

"Here kid." Said Chris as he handed Rowan her drink.

"Thanks." Said Rowan sadly.

"What's the matter?" Asked Chris.

"Nothing." Rowan lied.

"Hey, you want to go make out some where?" Asked Chris.

It seemed like that's all Chris wanted to do! Just make out. Peyton... Peyton... That's all Rowan could think about! Peyton would never do this.

-After School-

Rowan had gotten through one whole day of Chris torture but still didn't want to give him up. Recently Rowan had been making decisions then breaking those decisions so Rowan knew no matter what to stay with Chris.

"Hey Robot! You got back together with Chris?" Asked John Blake coming up to her.

"Something like that." Smiled Rowan.

"Cool, you want a ride?" Asked John.

"Sure." Said Rowan happily.

"ITS BACK ON!" Yelled Olivia.

"What's back on?" Asked John.

"PEYTON AND I!!" Smiled Olivia.

Rowan's heart sank.

Peyton and Olivia? Their dating again? How? This isn't.... I can't. Why am I feeling like I just got shot? I have a boyfriend! A really nice caring boyfriend.

"GOOD FOR YOU GUYS." Said John.

"Let's go?" He asked Rowan.

"Okay." She said with a fake smile.

-In The Car-

"Okay that happened..I thought you guys were dating?" Said John.

"Well it's a long story." Said Rowan.

"Oh." Said John.

Rowan buckled her seatbelt.

"Do you have time?" She continued.

"All the time in the world for you." Said John.
