Chapter: 40 {Not Forever}

"You can't lie to her forever John." Said Peyton as he grabbed his backpack and walked out of class.

"Well how am I suppose to tell her?" Asked John.

"Just do it. You love her and she lo... Loves you! I'm her boyfriend you know I can't lie to her." Said Peyton as he continued to make his way to Rowan's locker.

"What happened to forever and always!" Yelled Rowan.

"RO-"

"NO! John how could you? Your my best friend! I ALMOST LOST YOU I WAS WANT TO LOOSE YOU AGAIN!" Said Rowan sadly.

"Rowan I... My dad.. I can't stay-"

"Whatever John." Said Rowan as she quickly stormed off.

"Dude. I told you." Said Peyton as he ran after Rowan.

"Rowan I'm leaving tomorrow and I don't want to end it like this!" Said John truthfully.

"Fine then let's end it like this... I'll pretend I didn't know you and you'll pretend you didn't know me-"

"Why are you so angry? Rowan I don't have a choice-"

"Your lying to me right now and you don't think I know but I do and that's why I'm so angry!" Said Rowan.

"You.... You know?!" Asked John in confusion.

"I'm not dumb." Said Rowan as she walked off with Peyton.

"Bye Rowan." Said John as he made his way to his locker to clear out his stuff.

"John are the rumors true? Your leaving?" Asked Kaiya.

"Oh.... Yea." Said John opening his locker.

"Oh. John what's happening?" Asked Kaiya.

"What?" Asked John.

"Everything has changed or either is changing. Why can't it stay the way it was! I liked it a lot better!" Said Kaiya.

(A/n: if you remember from the earlier chapters Kaiya is a cheerleader and Olivia's best friend! Just too let you know!)

"Yea me too. I didn't know how much pain love is." Said John as he glanced at Rowan and Peyton who were both hugging each other.

"John I've always liked you." Said Kaiya.

"Well Kaiya this is the end." Said John.

"Must be." Said Kaiya sadly.

"Kaiya will you do me a favor?" Asked John.

"Yes." Said Kaiya.

"Keep Olivia away from Rowan we both now how weak Peyton is he'll snap as soon as too many people are watching." Said John as he slung his backpack over his shoulder and began to walk out.

"Will do." Whispered Kaiya.

10:00 At Night

  John fell asleep on the couch in the living room when at 10 pm he heard knocking on his door. John quickly put on his black slippers and opened the door.

"Kaiya what are you-"

  Right away Kaiya kissed John and John kissed back.

"Kaiya." Said John as he pulled off.

"John don't leave. I know it's hard now but it will get better! Rowan is happy and you should be too! You need to find someone else their are other people out in this world that care about you!" Said Kaiya.

"Kaiya nobody cares about me! My mother is dead! My father... Well God would be lucky if he even knew where he was!-"

"Look I'm sorry! Okay! But that doesn't mean that other people don't care about you!" Said Kaiya.

"Kaiya are you saying you care about me?" Asked John.

"Of course I do. John I've known you since 8th grade." Said Kaiya.

"Yea but you haven't exactly said too much." Said John.

"Well I'm just shy." Said Kaiya.

"I like shy girls." Said John.

"Well I just thought I would stop by and-"

Right away John pulled Kaiya in by her arm and kissed her lips.

Kaiya pulled off : "John does this mean your still leaving?" Asked Kaiya.

"I already got all the transfer slips ... I can't stay, you know that." Said John.

"I know I just-"

"But I'll visit a lot." Said John.

"Okay!" Said Kaiya as she then backed up and made her way to her car.

"Drive safe." Said John as he then shut his door blowing her a kiss through the window.

A/n: Yay! John found someone else! But the thing is (is) that Rowan's not here so when he see's Rowan again will he immediately regret dating Kaiya and want to go back to hard core crushing on Rowan? Lol what do you think?
