Chapter: 37 {My House}

- 5 Hours Later -

  - Back With Peyton -

  Peyton was sitting in his room, he didn't talk to anyone, he just sat down on his bed remembering his stupid choices he had made this year.

  Peyton then made his way to Rowan's house, he knew she would be able to help him and comfort him. After all that's what girlfriends do.

  Peyton tried knocking and opening the door but it was locked. So he climbed up to Rowan's window. Then he saw it. It shot him like a gun. Rowan was sleeping with John.

"WHy is SHE so confusing she likes me she likes him!" Said Peyton as he then slowly climbed down.

  So much for comfort and hope. Thought Peyton.

- 15 minutes later -

"Ahhhh!" Yelled Rowan.

"Rowan what's wrong?" Said John.

"Oh nothing I'm sorry. I just uh-" Said Rowan as she slid her hand down her hair. "A bad dream." She continued.

"Are you okay?" He asked.

"I'm okay." Said Rowan pushing away her tears.

"We should probably not be in the same bed anymore." Said John standing up.

Rowan grabbed his hand and pushed him back down.

"John your broken." She said.

"Gee thanks Ro." He said sadly.

"Your moms gone, you have doubt in your father, and the girl you like is taken by your old best friend. Why John? Anybody would not talk to me or shut me out they would not be as gentle as you. You let me vent you let me cry when the problem's you have are way worse! I know what it's like to loose a parent. Trust me.-"

"Rowan I'm not like any normal guy." Said John laughing.

"I know." Said Rowan leaning in.

  Does she want me to lean in too? Does she want to kiss me? No- no! John you can't! He thought.

"Rowan." Said John sadly.

"John I don't know what these feelings are and-"

"I need to go home." He said.

"What no." Said Rowan.

"I'm ruining your relationship with Peyton! You say you want me and I fall for it then Peyton comes and you want him!! Rowan I'm not doing this again!" Said John.

"John your father!" Said Rowan.

"He won't come! I know him." Said John as he ran out of Rowan's house.

  And he was right. John's father never showed up.
