(A/N: I just want to make it clear that ROWAN AND JOHN ARE NOT TOGETHER! Rowan said in the last chapter that John was her boyfriend she said that so they would let her in. So if you were confused if they were back together or not they aren't. Peyton and Rowan are together. Also by all means if you don't like the constant drama Peyton and Rowan have then stop reading, I personally like the love/hate relationship that Peyton and Rowan have I think it gives the book a bit of a kick! And finally Peyton and Rowan will be together for the rest of the book so just to let you know.)
Rowan followed the doctors into the room.
"Honey you have to stay out here. Only family can come in!" Demanded the doctor.
"But he doesn't have family, well they're not here! Their in another state!" Said Rowan angrily.
"Okay fine." Said the doctor.
"John!" Said Rowan as she ran to the bed.
"Rowan?" Asked John.
"He's alive." Said Rowan as she rested her head on his chest.
"Ow." Screeched John.
Rowan lifted up John's shirt and could see the burnt skin.
"How did this happen?" She asked.
"Well all I remember is hearing my fire alarm going on. I opened my door and the black smoke attacked me, my first priority was to get out of the house I made my way down stairs to only find the kitchen full of fire then all the sudden I was rushed into the hospital here." Said John with a confused look on his face.
"The firemen said that the oven was on along with the stove-"
"Both on to the highest temperature there is!" Said Rowan interrupting Jonathan.
"Well I don't know how, I went straight to bed Rowan. I didn't get food I was stuffed from the party." Said John.
"Was anyone home with you?" Asked Jonathan.
"Just Ian. IAN WHERE IS HE?" Asked John worriedly.
"Ian wasn't in your house when the fire started-"
"Nor in the crowds." Said Rowan.
"That's weird he was there when I went to bed." Said John.
"Does Ian not like you?" Asked Jonathan.
"No he loves me!" Said John looking at his feet.
Did he cause the fire? Thought Rowan.
