"Even if it gets erased again, all my life is you
On the white road where flower petals were flying
If you and I, who were happy together, could meet again
'Cause I'm falling slowly love with you"

"Excuse me" a gentle voice interrupted their serene moment. An elderly woman with wrinkles etched on her face and a warm smile stood behind them.

"They're burning firecrackers over by the lake side," she continued, her eyes twinkling with invitation. "We would appreciate it if you would take part in it." Jiwon's face lit up with a wide smile as she turned to the woman.

"we'll definitely join" Jiwon replied, her enthusiasm evident. The elderly woman nodded, her eyes shining with gratitude, and took her husband's hand. As they walked away, Eunseok turned to Jiwon, a hint of amusement on his face.

"Aren't you tired enough by now?" he asked, his brow raised in question. Jiwon rolled her eyes, a playful smile still on her lips. "Come on, just this once" she coaxed, her voice laced with persuasion.

Eunseok's expression softened, and he nodded, following Jiwon as they made their way toward the lake. The sound of firecrackers grew louder, mingling with laughter and chatter. The night air was electric with excitement.

Upon reaching the lake, Jiwon's breath caught in her throat. The firecrackers' vibrant colors reflected off the water, creating a dazzling display.

"It's beautiful!" she exclaimed, her voice barely above a whisper. Eunseok smiled, his eyes crinkling at the corners as he watched her reaction.

The elderly woman handed them each a firecracker, and Jiwon's face lit up. "Thank you, grandma" she said, her voice filled with gratitude.

Eunseok raised an eyebrow, his expression teasing. "You're really getting into this, aren't you?" Jiwon nodded enthusiastically, her ponytail bobbing.

As they lit the firecrackers, the night air exploded with color and sound. Jiwon laughed, her eyes sparkling with joy.

Eunseok's gaze locked onto Jiwon's radiant face, and time seemed to freeze. The firecrackers' vibrant colors faded into the background, and all he saw was her. Her bright smile, her long flowing hair, and the small dimple on her cheek mesmerized him.

Her bright smile, like a sunrise bursting across the horizon, illuminated his entire being. Her long, flowing hair cascaded down her back like a waterfall of night, and the small dimple on her cheek beckoned him like a siren's call.

Eunseok's heart stuttered, skipping a beat. His senses came crashing down, grounding him in the reality of his feelings. The air thickened, heavy with an unspoken understanding.

Jiwon, oblivious to Eunseok's captivation, reveled in the moment. Her laughter echoed through the night air, mingling with the firecrackers' explosions. The elderly couple watched, smiling, as the two young people lit their firecrackers.

As the sparks fizzled out, Jiwon turned to Eunseok, her eyes sparkling. "That was amazing!" she exclaimed. Eunseok's expression softened, his eyes still fixed on hers.

"Definitely worth it" he said, his voice low and sincere. Jiwon's heart skipped a beat at the warmth in his tone.

The elderly woman approached, her eyes twinkling. "I'm glad you enjoyed it. Now, come, join us for some traditional sweets."

Jiwon nodded enthusiastically, but Eunseok's gaze lingered on her, his thoughts swirling.

His heart beat irregularly as he struggled to make sense of his feelings. He might be falling in love, and the thought filled him with uncertainty.

Warmth spread through his chest, mixed with doubts that had been lingering in the shadows of his mind. His thoughts were a jumbled mix of questions, each one tangled in a web of emotions he couldn't quite unravel.

Looking at Jiwon, her bright smile and sparkling eyes weakened his defenses, making him feel vulnerable in a way he never had before.

Her laughter was infectious, drawing him in with its gentle cadence. Every moment they shared seemed to chip away at the walls he had built around himself, leaving him exposed and unsure.

Their hands touched, and he felt a spark of electricity run through his veins. Was it accidental or intentional? The uncertainty intensified his turmoil, leaving him questioning every gesture, every glance. Eunseok wondered if he was ready for love's unpredictability, if he was prepared to surrender to the chaotic rhythms of his own heart.

"Want another sweet?" Jiwon asked, her voice piercing through his thoughts. Eunseok nodded, lost in his emotions, unsure how to navigate the uncharted territory of his feelings.
