"She got me going crazy
why is my heart racing
You are beautiful, my Goddess"

As they entered the cozy living room, Jiwon's gaze swept across the space, her eyes lingering on the family photos that adorned the walls.

The warm smile of her mother, now a cherished memory, beamed from the frames, surrounded by the scattered belongings of everyday life. Despite the mess, the room exuded a sense of warmth and comfort, a testament to the love that once filled it.

"Sorry," Jiwon muttered, her cheeks flushing with embarrassment. "It's not really tidy." Eunseok shook his head, his expression dismissive of her apology. Together, they hung their jackets, the familiarity of the gesture weaving a sense of ease between them.

Just then, Jieun's yell halted mid-sentence as she spotted Eunseok standing in the living room. "Oh, hey Eunseok?" she ventured, her pronunciation uncertain. Eunseok's gentle smile put her at ease, his eyes crinkling at the corners.

"You've grown up," he murmured, lost in thought. Memories flooded back – Jieun as a tearful teenager, clinging to her teddy.

Time had transformed the gangly child into a confident young adult, and Eunseok's gaze lingered, witnessing the transformation.

"You know me?" she asked, her eyes darting between Eunseok and Jiwon. Jiwon intervened, "You must not remember, but he's my childhood friend, as I told you." Eunseok's gaze remained on Jieun, a mix of nostalgia and sadness creeping in.

"Oh my gosh!" Jieun suddenly muttered, her eyes wide with wonder as she diverted her gaze to Eunseok. "Are you the one who brought the sports freaking car?" she asked, gasping for breath. Jiwon face-palmed, embarrassed by her sister's overdramatic reaction.

Eunseok chuckled, amused by Jieun's enthusiasm, which reminded him of Sohee's vibrant spirit. "Yeah," he replied nonchalantly, "a surprise gift." Jieun's gratitude poured out in a flurry of thank-yous.

"You're the best bro!" she exclaimed, her words dripping with dramatic flair. "It was one hell of a thing with that shitty car!" Jiwon rolled her eyes good-naturedly.

"And now my car seems shitty, huh?" Jiwon asked, playfully glaring at her sister. Jieun flashed a pitying glance at Eunseok. "My sister must be a pain in the ass," she exclaimed, but her words were cut short as Jiwon lunged toward her.

Eunseok stood outside Jiwon's house, preparing to leave after a warm and chaotic evening with the two sisters. Despite their losses, Jiwon and Jieun had found solace in each other, their bond palpable and heartwarming.

Their mother's passing and father's abandonment had left emotional scars, but their resilience shone through in their laughter and banter.

As he nodded to his man who was assigned as watch man, who saluted in response, Eunseok opened his car door, lost in thought.

However, his instincts, honed from years in the mafia, suddenly kicked in. He sensed an unfamiliar presence lurking in the shadows, the rustling of the leaves beneath the shoes made it clear.

Swiftly, Eunseok turned around, his gaze turning dark as he scanned the darkened street. His eyes narrowed, searching for any sign of potential danger. The watchman's alert expression mirrored his own, a silent understanding passing between them.

The AGMA gang is after jiwon

For the first time in his life, Eunseok felt fear creeping in, but it wasn't for himself. The AGMA gang had set their sights on Jiwon, and he had no idea when or where they would strike. The uncertainty gnawed at him, fueling his anxiety.

As a seasoned mafia member, Eunseok was no stranger to danger. He had faced countless threats, always emerging unscathed. But Jiwon's vulnerability exposed a chink in his armor. Her innocence and kindness had awakened a protective instinct he never knew he possessed.

Just the thought of Jiwon in harm's way sent a chill down his spine.

He couldn't shake the feeling of responsibility, the weight of ensuring her safety. Eunseok's usual calm demeanor gave way to a sense of urgency, driving him to take action.
