Episode 9: Closure

Daisy and Grant are in a skyrise apartment that was under Daisy's name, she inherited it when Garrett died, so all in all Daisy got all Garrett's safehouses and all the apartment's he had, her name was already on the lease on all his apartments anyway.

Grant was setting up a sniper rifle for Daisy, she was going to shoot Rosalind Price, having worked out that she and Coulson had a relationship, once Daisy took the shot Rosalind would bleed out in Coulson's arms and he'd finally know how Daisy felt when Kara died.

Once Grant's finished setting the rifle up, he moved off the seat and Daisy took his place, she watched Rosalind and Coulson move around and talk for a bit, and as soon as she has the best shot, she takes it, the bullet hits Rosalind in the neck, which means that she'll bleed out in Coulson's arms.

Grant then calls Coulson via Rosalind's phone, he places it on speaker and gives Daisy a signal to stay quiet. "Now you know how it feels, Coulson, to watch someone you care for bleed out right in front of you."

"Ward? And I take it Skye's with you." Coulson said.

"It's Daisy." the brunette in question yelled at the phone.

"Got to admit, it still sounds funny when you don't say "agent" first." Grant said, knowing Coulson was going to ignore Daisy's name change, they all have in SHIELD.

"What did you do?" Coulson asked coldly.

"It seems Daisy and I just eliminated a leak at the ATCU." Grant said with a shrug.

"You murdered Rosalind to keep her from digging into Malick?" Coulson asked.

"Come on, Coulson. You really think Rosalind was gonna stop Malick from opening another portal? He's opened one before. I'm sure he'll do it again," Grant starts shaking his head as he speaks. "No. This is personal. S.H.I.E.L.D. keeps sending its best agents to kill me and my wife. So we thought we'd stop that from happening again by taking out the guy who keeps sending them." Grant said shrugging.

"Want to take me out? Come and get me. We'll settle this right now." Coulson said.

"Daisy and I have people who take care of that sort of thing for me now. No, she and I just wanted to hear the panic in your voice before you died." Grant said.

"This isn't over." Coulson warned.

Grant just hangs up and then he and Daisy wait a few moments to leave the building.

Mack and Coulson have returned to the base, Simmons looks behind her shoulder when Coulson and Mack walk past the kitchen entrance, she sees blood stained on his shirt.

Bobbi, Simmons and Hunter all look at each other and May rushes out to go talk to Coulson while Mack joins the three in the kitchen of the Playground.

"Coulson said anything once you got him out of there?" Bobbi asked.

"He just told me to get the interrogation room ready." Mack replied.

Coulson sits across from May. "We need to work out how Ward and Skye think? Is there any weakness we haven't exploited yet? It's obvious they're each others weakness but neither would let it show, and they by each other's side so we need other weaknesses of theirs." Coulson was saying.

"You really think there's something we've missed?" May asked with a raised eyebrow.

"There's only one way to find out. I want each of the original team members to tell me everything they remember about Ward and Skye, down to the smallest detail, no matter how uncomfortable." Coulson said.
