niki squealed as eXcess and ivan chased her through the field, giggling and laughing. she loved ivan and eX so much. she really hoped they did, too. whilst thinking, eXcess creeped up on her, making niki jump. ''ack!'' she giggled.
''wait, d'you find her?''
''yeah i did, iv!'' eXcess called. ''now nikis it.'' she explained, before stepping backwards slowly. then, she ran, tugging ivan's sleeve to make them speed up. ivan, eXcess and niki all laughed, loudly, when niki jumped on them. they all tumbled down, legs tangled.
''ew, get off.'' ivan giggled, crawling out from underneath them. eXcess crawled from under niki and niki stood up slowly, brushing dirt and grass off of her jeans. she grinned but ivan didn't look near as happy.
''whats wrong, ivan?''
''um, can we stop playing, now?'' they mumbled, standing up. eXcess and niki nodded, a soft smile on both of their faces. ivan grinned. ''i'll race you back!'' they sprinted off quickly. the two girls looked confused for a moment, but quickly caught up with them.
''ugh, how did you win, eX?'' ivan groaned, sitting down on the school's steps.
''i'm just better.'' she joked, sitting down with them. niki sat down too.
''you guys are great, im so glad you're in my life.'' niki confessed. ivan looked up, a bit nervously. eXcess just smiled.
''so am i.''
''me three!''
