"alright... uhuh.... huh..." was all i had to say. this meeting seemed unimportant. did i really have to be here for this? guess i do. i leaned back, trying not to fall asleep. im in new york, but janesa doesn't know. we've been going good, despite her getting pretty upset with me over my phone answering skills, we've been fine.

"you're antsy. what do you have planned?"

i looked at finneas. why can he always tell when im trying to have a second to sneak away. i shrugged, looking at my phone. "n <3" flashes across my phone, making my manager look at me before i quickly put it on silent. he does not like us together.

n <3 - my calls on silent again????

"excuse me." i got up and called her back. "are you working?" nessa asked me, and i ehard the busy background in the back of her call, "yeah, kinda. you?"

"no. school. just say hi or.. something. you didn't call this morning."

"hey, ness. i miss you."

"hi, bil. im coming to your show tomorrow."

"really? you get in for free, remember. i'll hve james come and get you."

she giggled, which made me smile, "you're gonna have to tell me who james is when that time comes, baby," she said, "i dont wanna get lost or nothing. i need to see you."

"you'll see me for sure, my love. i gotta go back to this meeting, call you later?"

"you know it. i love you."

"i love you too." i went back into the meeting, and gave my manager a smile. i joined them at the table again, but the meeting was just ending.

after rehearsals, i made my way to her apartment. "BILLIE EILISH!?" i laughed and hugged all of them, trying to dodge their questions to why im here. "do you live here?! OH MY GOD BILLIE EILISH LIVES IN THE SAME APARTMENT AS ME!" i laughed, "no! no, just visiting a friend."

"is that friend, nessa?! oh my god you guys suck at hiding it!" i just laughed uncontrobally, they're always so right. i scurried off into the elevator, and found my way to apartment 333. 

i heard her music, and her cat meowing behind the door. i knocked, and heard her music stop, "coming!!" she squealed before swinging open the door. 

"AH!" she pulled me into a tight hug, kissing me harder then she's ever before. "hi. miss me?" i asked, "of course i fucking missed you, cutie!!" she pulled me inside and kissed me until our lips were swollen. "do you wanna go out and eat something?"

"i was gonna go to sleep but now im awake, lets go." i smiled as she pulled me to her room, "we're still going to the show tonight? you always know how to surprise me."
