As the first light of dawn crept gently over the horizon, the world awakened in a soft embrace of golden hues. The sky, a delicate tapestry of pinks and oranges, painted a breathtaking canvas that hinted at the promise of a new day. Dew-kissed petals glistened like diamonds on the vibrant flora, their fragrances mingling in the crisp, cool air.

Adhyay's pov

I woke up as the sun's rays beamed onto my face as they came through the balcony, filtered by the sheer white curtains. As I checked the time, it was almost 5:30 am, which made me sulk a little. I got up and walked to the bathroom to freshen up; as my morning routine started, changing into my gym clothes, I made my way to the gym...

It's almost 6 am as usual, and I am alone. No one would be up yet except Dadi sa, doing her daily routine, morning prayers!! Habitual to all these tasks, I started jogging on the treadmill simultaneously checking my emails, and going through them one by one, as I was done just then Maa Sa entered with a servant trailing behind her with a tray of a protein shake,

"Good Morning, Bache!" smiling

"Good morning, ma", as I bent down to touch her feet.

"Jeete rahiye!" she replied.
(Stay blessed)

I just took the protein shake from the tray settling on the nearby seat.

"Achaa Beta tu nahakeBreakfast keliya aa, mai jati hu nhi toh tere baba sa mujhe dhoondte rahebge" she said caressing my hair, though sweaty she didn't mind...
(Okay My son you get freshen up and come down for breakfast, I will go or else you father would tart searching for me)

As I made my way back to my room calling my secretary,

"Hello, sir!" he picked up.

"Ha Rajat, get me the meeting details files to the office!"

"Yes sir, humne files already apke cabin me rakh diye hai!"(I have aready kept the files in your cabin)

"Kya baat hai! tum itne jaldi office me kya kar the ho?, abhi toh 7:30 bhi nhi baje!"

Good job!What are you doing in the office so eary its merely 7:30)

"woh sir apne woh Khurrana's wale case ka report manga tha na woh karte karte late hogaya toh mai ghar hi nhi gaya tha"

Yes sir,you had asked me for the Khurrana's cases report, so I was doing that and then I didn’t go home)

"kya?!, thik hai abb ghar jao, 11 baje se pehele office matt ana!"

What?!,okay now you go home,and don'tcometothe office before 11)

"kyu sir?!?!?!" he asked panic audible in his voice. "sir mera report tayar hai !"
(Why sir?!?!?!, sir my report is ready)

"haan toh isiliye ghar jao, thoda araam kar lo"
(

Yes so thats why go home and take some rest)

"sir apko meri chinta hai?" he asked awkwardly
(Sir you care for me?)

kya?! mujhe iski chinta? hahah joke of the day! mai toh issne kal chutti nhi marni chahiye isliye bol rha hu!
(What?! I care for him? Haha joke of the day!I am telling him to go home so that he doesn't take a leave tomorrow)

"shut up Rajat, Go home!! or else ajj bhi overtime karaunga!!"

" Nhaiiii, sir sorry mai nikal gaya!"

"aur mera schedule mujhe mail karo abhi!!"

"ji sir" With that I hung up

I quickly took a bath and got ready, moving to the dining area; everyone was settled up except 'DEV'.

I touched Dadi sa's Feet, turning to Baba sa, Kaka sa and Kaki sa

"Khush rahiya"said Dadi sa

"Apke bhai kaha hai Adhyay, ye ladka roj late hota kaise hai?!"

"its ok dadi ,Dev ajkal bohot kaam karne laga hai! raat mein bhi kal woh meeting attend kar krha tha," I said, showing pride, as Dev entered.

"sorry sorry Dadi sa woh humara alarm hi nhi baja!!! "
"

Chaliye thik hai aye"
"Good morning Bhai sa" he greeted me
"Good morning" I replied
"Adhyay,kal ki tayari hogayi??"Baba sa asked
"Haan Baba sa almost!"
"Dhruv mehemano ki list?? "
"Haan woh humne bhijvadi"Dhruv answered

Tomorrow is Dadi SA's 80th Birthday. Tho she didn't want to celebrate, so we decided to just invite close friends and family!!
"Ma sa hum nikalte hai"i said
"Yes mai bhi," said Dhruv
"Mai bhi..."said kaka sa
"Mai bhi maa"said Deviyani
"Arey mujhe breakfast toh karne do," said Dev, almost crying.
To which I just chuckled and replied, "Haan aram se tu basd me ana!"

"Nhi bhai sa mai apke saath hi aunga!!"
Saying he got up to leave!! Thats when Dadi sa called me
"Rana Adhyay!"
"Ji Dadi"
"Humara kal janam din hai!!, toh hume apse ek vchan chahiye tofe ki jaga!"
"Dadi sa ap kahe aur hu mane na aisa kabhi hua hai kya?, bataye kya baat hai"
"Hume vachan dijiye ke hum jo nirnaay apke bare me lenge aap woh manenge!"
"Konsa nirnay dadi?"
"Whi jo hum kal batayenge "
With a confused expression i promised her and with it she left!! As I left for office as well!..
