Meera's pov
I woke up with the sunlight hitting my face, as I felt as if was wrapped in a cocoon of warmth , the duvet covering me perfectly while something heavy around my waist while my face snuggled in something too calm and warm but familiar as I opened my eyes I realized as I was snubbed in Adhyay's chest while he encircled me around my waist, it felt good, i lifted my face with which Adhyay's face cane to my view, he was fast asleep, his face serene, calm and it looked really cute, he looked like an innocent kid, which I liked the most and with that the last night flashed in front of my eyes, heat rise to my cheeks as I felt it flushed, but right now my favourite thing was my husband sleep peacefully I gently kissed his lips making su4e he doesn't wake up , while he snuggled more into me , as I looked at him again adoring his Handsome face, when a voice shocked me
"Stop looking at me like that, Meera. I can't take it," Adhyay said, his voice a mix of exasperation and bashfulness. He opened his eyes to meet mine, and despite the intensity between us, a smile tugged at his lips, softening his expression.
I couldn't help but smile back, feeling a surge of playfulness. Teasing him was too tempting to resist.
"What's your problem, huh?" I pouted, pretending to be indignant. "Can't I look at my cute, handsome, and lovely husband?"
His smile grew, and I saw the way his eyes sparkled with that familiar warmth and mischief. I knew he loved my teasing just as much as I loved provoking him. He pulled me closer, his hands settling on my waist, and I felt my heart skip a beat as he closed the gap between us, his face only inches from mine.
"You keep looking at me like that, and you'll see exactly what I'm capable of," he whispered, his voice laced with a playful threat that sent shivers through me.
I bit my lip, trying to suppress my grin.
"Maybe that's exactly what I want."His eyes darkened as I challenged him, and his grip on my waist tightened ever
so slightly.I could feel the heat radiating from him, a mix of playfulness
and intensity. My heart raced as he leaned closer, his breath warm against
my skin.
"You're playing a dangerous game, Mrs.Ranawat," he murmured, his voice low,
sending shivers down my spine.I smirked, refusing to look away. "Maybe I like a little danger," I whispered, my
voice barely above a breath. He chuckled softly, shaking his head as if he couldn't believe my nerve, but the
glint in his eyes showed he loved every second of it. Before I could react, he
pulled me even closer, and his lips found mine, capturing me in a kiss that was both tender and filled with promise. My hands found their way to his chest tracing the lines of his muscles as I melted into him, feeling every inch of his warmth and strength. His hands slid up my back, gentle but possessive, as if reminding me that, in this moment, I was his and only his. I could feel myself getting lost in him, his touch, his closeness, and the depth of his love. When he pulled back, his forehead rested against mine, our breaths mingling in the silence between us. He gave me that playful smile again, his eyes softer now, filled with something deeper
"Are you ready for all this danger you're inviting, Jaan?" he whispered, brushing a stray strand of hair from my face.
I smiled, feeling my cheeks flush but not backing down.
"With you, I'm ready for anything."I replied. And with that we both giggled, this is what I dreamed of a lovely morning in the arms of my love.
"I love you, Adhyay," I whispered, smiling up at him, my heart overflowing with a warmth I could barely contain. I could see the tenderness in his gaze, his expression softening as he looked at me, the words settling between us like a promise.
