A few days after Clara leaves, Leo and I are sitting in my apartment, catching up over coffee. The conversation drifts to his personal life, and I notice he's been quieter than usual.

"What's going on, Leo?" I ask gently. "You've been kind of distant lately."

He hesitates, then sighs. "I've been thinking a lot about Mia."

I sit up, curious. "What about her?"

"I think I'm going to propose," he says, his voice soft but sure.

My heart swells with happiness for him. "Leo, that's amazing! Have you talked to her about it?"

"Not yet," he admits, running a hand through his hair. "I want it to be perfect. But I'm sure about this, Lila. I love her."

I smile, feeling a deep sense of joy for my best friend. "You two are perfect for each other. She's lucky to have you."

As we talk about his plans, I can't help but feel a sense of peace. Leo has always been there for me, and now, he's found someone who makes him truly happy. It's a beautiful thing to witness.
