As Leo and Mia begin planning their wedding, I'm swept up in the excitement. Mia asks me to help her with some of the details, and even though I've never been particularly interested in weddings, I find myself enjoying the process.
We spend afternoons going over color schemes, venues, and guest lists. Mia's energy is infectious, and it's clear how much she and Leo care for each other. It's heartwarming to see my best friend so deeply in love.
One evening, as we're looking at potential dresses, Mia turns to me with a soft smile. "I'm so glad you're a part of this, Lila. You mean so much to Leo, and to me."
