The time had finally come. Josh's chance to seek revenge against Ender and Wren was just about to take place, for he if succeeds, the curse will be broken, and Trench will be safe from Dema.

After consulting with the group, Josh planned the attack down to every detail. He'll have Jenna and the women on the outside of the tower, while Josh leads a sneak attack on the inside.

Once the plan was complete, Citrus took his sister to the side for a quick farewell.

Citrus hugged Gamma; knowing they won't see each other until the final defeat.

"Be brave, Gamma." Citrus said. "Remember what mother and father taught us."

"Yes, dear brother." Gamma replied. "I will."

At the same time, Kai took his wife to the exact spot where they got married, and they shared an embrace.

They believed that this would be the last time they'd see each other, until the eventual defeat.

"I love you so much, my darling." Linh said to her husband. "I won't let anything separate us."

"Nothing will break us apart, my love." Kai replied. "We will always be together."

Kai kissed Linh on the forehead, then they went their separate ways.

Then, Jenna said her goodbye to Josh.

They hadn't shared a moment together since Tyler's vigil, but they always maintained the friendship and respect that they had for each other.

Jenna touched Josh's cheek.

"This is the only way." She said. "By the time this is over, we will bring Tyler back to life."

"Yes, and we must." Josh replied.

"We will, I believe in it."

The man nodded, then Jenna kissed him on the cheek.

When everyone came together and gave their support and farewell, the group separated.

Jenna took Linh and Gamma to the outside of the north tower to await for the signal, so that there would be power on the outside to aid help on the inside.

Josh, Kai, and Citrus, all approached the north tower. They stood together and looked up, where the entrance window resided.

Josh looked up into the window, and realized there was only one way to get up there.

He looked to Kai and Citrus.

"We must climb the tower."

"But, how?" Kai asked. "The walls look so slick. We could easily slip right off."

"There is a way." Citrus said; pulling something from behind his back. "I have a rope."

He handed the rope to his master.

"The rope is stiff enough, and it won't slip off."

Josh looked upon the black rope that was in his hands. He could see himself strangling Wren with it, as she had suffocated and drowned her own son to do away with what she had done.

But, this rope was to be the way to get up into the tower.

The three men threw the rope to a hook near the entrance of the window, then tied the bottom to a branch.

Once it was done, Josh grabbed the rope.

"Now, we make the climb."

"Yes." Citrus said. "For this climb is like a ladder to chaos. Many have attempted to climb this ladder, and have ultimately failed."

The man eyed the top of the tower.

"The fall breaks them."

"And, we will make Ender and Wren fall." Josh said; his eyes turning red with fury. "Their chaos will come to an end."

With this promise sealed, the three men began to make their climb.

At the bottom, Jenna, Linh, and Gamma, all sat and watched, for they knew that if they fell, the climb would never be attempted again.

The climb was long, and exhausting with every step. The higher they went, the closer they were to finding their enemy. They dare not look down, for if they did, they would never be able to look up again.

After a long and hard climb, the three men finally made it to the top of the north tower.

Once they got inside, the men quickly took notice of the interior of the tower, and it was not what they anticipated.

However, the three men, with their weapons drawn, started making the search for Ender and Wren. As they did, they made some observations about the tower.

It was a circular single room, covered in dust and cobwebs. The room gave a distinct impression, along with an unwarranted sense of doom.

In the middle of the room sat a throne, with orbs at its sides. It looked just like the magic orb which put poor Tyler under the sleeping curse.

Then, at the end of the room, there was a bed. Josh, with Kai and Citrus behind him, walked over and looked over the bed.

When he did, he found something strange.

Lying on the bed were the corpses of a couple, who held each other in embrace. On each side, there was a cup which contained a reddish color.

Josh picked up the cup to take a look. When he examined the reddish fluid, he noticed it had the smell of bitter almonds.

To Josh, it can only mean one thing.

Cyanide.

Kai and Citrus, who stood beside their leader, were baffled beyond words.

"Did Ender and Wren do this?" Kai asked.

"I don't know." Josh replied; still looking over the cup.

"But, it doesn't make sense. Why would Ender and Wren kill themselves?"

Citrus, although he was wise and effective in detecting a person's actions, did not believe the couple would take their lives so quickly.

"They couldn't have done this." He said. "Ender Mastel is a master of deception."

He looked to the two men.

"Only a fool would fall for this trick."

Josh believed Citrus. He didn't think this was possible.

If Ender and Wren staged the tower, they are still out there.

However, before they could continue to search, the sound of angry crows echoed into the tower. The three men ran for cover, and waited for the crows to pass by.

Once they were gone, Josh ran to the tower window, where he saw Jenna, Linh, and Gamma, all bound and gagged.

"What? No!"

Fearing for their lives, Josh tried to climb out, but was met with a familiar voice.

When he turned around, he saw Ender Mastel; holding Kai and Citrus at knife point.

"Hello, Lord Josh."

Josh attempted to run towards him, but was quickly caught by Wren.

"Don't make another move, my lord." She said.

The man tried to fight, but the pregnant woman was no match for him.

Ender eyed his wife, with a menacing grin.

"Throw him in with the others."

Wren took Josh and placed him next to Kai and Citrus. Then, the couple took the three men and tied them to the wall.

Josh and the Banditos were trapped, and at the mercy of Ender and Wren's power.
