One More Time ( Becky x Freen )

Chapter 37

It was 8.15 PM and everyone including Araya went to take Freen to the Suvarnabhumi airport. They all waited in the terminal until boarding time, along with Faye's family. They waited in the lobby until it was time to board the plane, and just like in the car, Finn and Becky remained silent.

They simply held Freen's hands in theirs until they heard the announcement of boarding time. Freen hugged Araya first before she moved to hug Becky who was waiting for her with weak puppy eyes.

"Take care of our son for me until I come back, ka?" Freen told her as she hugged Becky one last time and as she was about to part from her, she felt Becky squeeze her tighter. "Hey, bebe... I'll be back on Sunday na. It'll just be for two days." She whispered slowly and heard Becky sigh.

"I know..." Becky's slow, raspy voice grazed her ears. "I'll miss you." She continued, before pulling away and kissing Freen once on the lips. "I'll miss you so much!" She said again as she gave Freen the last kiss on the forehead.

Freen smiled before saying, "I'll miss you too na, my cute Mami."

It was the second time she called Becky in her conscious state, after seven years, and it was also the first time Becky had kissed her on the forehead since seven years ago. She then moved to her son's side who watched them interact, also with weak puppy eyes.

Like mother like son.

Freen knelt down before hugging him. "You'll be good to your Mommy, na? Don't be so hard on her. I'll call you once I landed na?" She told him.

Their hug slowly ended after a flight attendant told them it was time to leave. They watched Freen walk down the long, empty hallway and they all suddenly heard Faye's daughter crying calling for her. Her girlfriend, Yoko, held her tightly as Faye continued walking with Freen towards the plane.

Freen turned to look at her son and saw that his face was all red. She knew he wanted to cry but acted tough in front of people. He didn't like being seen crying, at least not in front of a four-year-old girl, Faye's daughter.

Freen waved back one last time and headed to her plane with Faye. Becky held Finn in her arms as they waited by the tall glass windows that overlooked the planes outside.

Finn was quiet during the ride home with his Khun Yaa. He went straight to bed when they got to the house. It had been an hour since they said their goodbye to Freen. Becky asked him to watch the movie with her, but he said he was sleepy, so she let him go. Becky knew he was sad, so she stayed with him as long as she could.

"Mommy ka.... I miss Mae." Finn cried as he snuggled closer to his Mommy's chest as she rubbed his back in a circular motion.

It was twelve o'clock and they were both in Becky's bed at home with Araya in her room next to them. It was the second time Finn was there. But this time was more than the first time, as at the time he was only staying overnight, and only because Freen had to attend the conference for a whole day she would came home late at night, so she asked Araya to take them there that day.

"I know baby, I miss her too na." Becky assured him, kissing him once on the head.

"Can we call her now?"  She heard her son ask as he looked at her with his big, adorable brown eyes.

"Not yet, baby. Your Mae said she'll call us once she lands. We just have to wait for her to call, na?" She pleaded.

"Okay..." Finn said weakly as he sighed.

They both fell asleep thinking about the same person they loved the most, and before they knew it, it was the next morning.

Finn woke up alone that morning, rubbing his eyes and looking around the room as he realised where he really was. When he saw no sign of his Mommy, he got out of bed and left the bedroom to look for her.
